This knife would be a disappointment at $20.00
I like to give unfamiliar knife companies a chance and sometimes I'm surprised and other times I am disappointed. This knife is a disappointment. The pocket clip is useless as it sits proud on the scale, uses button head screws and is not tall enough for your pocket to fit completely. I even tried swapping pocket clips with one of my extras that I have and despite being T-6 screws, the the threaded portion of the screw is too large in diameter to fit through the holes in my other clips. So I'm stuck with this unusable clip. It only gets worse from here....The blade...Ugh...Let's call it "dirty etch" damascus. It looks like it was left on the bottom of the ocean for a few months and lightly rinsed. This looked even uglier on my knife as the blade was contaminated with a fingerprint before they etched the blade making it look like a smudge on the blade. Instead of being smart and returning the knife I tried to make it look better by using Flitz polish in an effort to minimize the "smudge" that I talked about earlier. I was amazed at how quickly the dirty etch came off when I polished the blade, and although less noticeable, the smudge is still there but the blade looks better. The carbon fiber inlays look nice but that is the only good thing to say here. You can get knives ten times better for half the price. Sad day....

Had potential
Very nice design with good materials. The handle was well constructed, but the omega spring on the lock seemed crudely put together. The VG-10 Damascus blade seems beautiful. Unfortunately, the knife I received had a massive warp in the blade, the grinds were horribly asymmetrical, and ultimately the blade was way off centered and the edge wasn’t straight.I returned the knife. However if the blade had not been warped and grinds were symmetrical, I would’ve kept it.

Good size knife with a wonderful looking Damascus blade made with VG10
The knife measures 4 5/16" L x 1 1/4" W x 5/8" T (measured to the outside of the clip) when closed. The blade is 3"L x 1.0” W. Length of the knife with the blade open is 7 5/16”.The knife weighs a hefty 141.7g/4.99 oz. due to the use of steel in the bolsters/handle pieces. I would have preferred aluminum handle pieces for corrosion resistance and weight reduction, but this construction is very strong, and the steel has a protective coating. It meets the description on the webpage.A bigger disappointment related to the handle relates to the carbon fiber inserts. These are flat and have no texture. These look like thin pieces of tape made to look like carbon fiber. They are applied to the surface of the handles so I am concerned how long they will stay in place. The handle also features a belt clip, which when tested is magnetic – so it’s not aluminum. This is a good thing as steel makes a better clip than aluminum. The clip is probably coated with the same corrosion resistant protective coating used on the bolsters/handles.Interestingly beside the belt clip the knife features an oval shaped hole cut through the handles. So, you could add a lanyard or wrist strap to the knife if you like. This can come in handy if you keep the knife in your pack or a waist pack. The knife feels very solid in the hand due to the size and weight. Rubbing your hand over the surface there are no sharp edges. The machining is clean and accurate. The blade extends smoothly with just your thumb using the studs on the blade (left- or right-hand operation). And the locking bolt locks in securely each time the blade is extended. Releasing the lock also works very smoothly. The blade itself is about 2.9mm thick at the back of the spine. There is an obvious seam that can be seen running along the spine of the knife from front to back (see picture). My guess is this blade is composed of 3 metals: 2 outside decorative Damascus pieces sandwiching a thin internal metal – perhaps VG10. This is a well-known type of blade manufacture that works very well.Hex bolts are used to keep the two handle pieces together. Based on the specs these bolt as well as the washers and nails are titanium. Visually, the gold color of these parts reminds me of a titanium nitride coating. And by using a magnet I was able to determine that the locking bolt, and the bolt used to extend the blade are magnetic – probably coated steel again. The knife meets the images shown on the website, but I would say the description given could use some improvement. But overall, I’m happy with the knife, the construction is strong. There is absolutely no wobble in the blade when extended. The locking mechanism works very well and is a very strong method of locking a folding blade. The Damascus finish on the blades looks really good. And I’m ok with the 3-layer blade construction sometimes called Sam-Mai – as long as the central layer is VG10. As is the blade is supplied razor sharp but does need some finishing to give the edge a fine polish. For the price, this is a good-looking, well-constructed knife. I like it and it makes a good every day carry if you are happy with the weight and size.

Classy.
This is a really clean looking knife. Not to heavy but everything you would want. Good blade shape. Good feel in the hand. And a quality blade material. It comes razor sharp and ready to go. At home in the field or in an office this knife might e the perfect one.
