Q: Is it possible to uncouple the anderson connectors and change them to a vertical arrangement? I'm trying to match a Goal Zero cord.

Yes you can. First cut the tie wraps. The two connectors are not glued, there's a channel connection. Slide one forward - I used the edge of the table to support one while I slid the other down. There's a channel connection on all sides so now you can slide the together in vertical orientation. Easy peasy.

Q: Will the 1/4 inch ring terminal fit my 33ah lifeline agm battery?

Don't think so. I used battery terminal adapters.

Q: What do you plug the ends into?

I connect the rings to a HAM radio power supply and the other end connects to Anderson Power Pole connectors .

Q: Is the ringed cable long enough for automotive applications?

Yes I used it on an automotive battery
