I ordered this hat for my husband because he works outside. We live in the Okanagan British Columbia Canada in a desert belt and it gets extremely hot. He works outside and it's been a game changer for him. It's vented, comfortable, functional and extremely well made.

Great hot-weather hat, lightweight, cool, and keeps the sun off your neck. Perfect for dealing with the hotter weather from climate change. This is the coolest hat that I've ever worn, in terms of temperature. Maybe not the coolest looking, unless you think looking like Lawrence of Arabia is cool, LOL. It's also so lightweight that it's great for hiking, mountain climbing, or traveling, because you'll never notice the weight, and you roll it up and stuff it in a bag and it takes up virtually no space. The only potential drawback is that it's so lightweight that in a strong wind, it might blow away unless you tighten the cord to keep it on your head.
