While there are numerous books on trading that cover one or part of the essential elements of the craft, this book is unique in that it brings all the essential pieces of the day trading puzzle together into a well-flowing, continuous system. The author, Thor Young, draws upon his extensive experience and conversations with other traders to create a comprehensive guide that covers "Where" to trade, "When" to trade, and "How" to manage trades once you are in them. While reading this book, I gained a deep understanding of a complex system. The author explains Camarilla pivots, Pivot strategies, Market Auction Theory, VPA, (overview of) Wyckoff phases, Price Action, Tape reading, preparation for trading in pre-market, how to manage the trade and risk, and lastly, touches on trading psychology. Young's explanations are clear and concise, and he provides helpful analogies, images, downloads, and screenshots of actual trades to illustrate his points. One of the most valuable aspects of this book is that Young not only explains when to trade, but also when to wait for the right setup and when not to trade at all. This nuanced approach sets this book apart from others and provides traders with actionable information that they can use to improve their trading skills. Overall, I highly recommend this book to all day traders who want to gain a deeper understanding of the craft and improve their skills. His skill set is superb, and it shows on every page. What truly sets this book apart is Thor’s ability to break down real-time market behavior in a way that’s both easy to follow and immediately applicable. Whether it’s reading the tape, interpreting Level 2, or navigating Camarilla pivots, his explanations are rooted in experience and delivered with precision. This isn’t just a trading book—it’s a masterclass from a seasoned trader who knows how to teach. If you’re serious about day trading, this book will absolutely sharpen your edge.

Let me start by saying that I am NOT a member of bear bull traders, just a trader looking for a better system that has been trading for over 2 years. I have purchased thousands of dollars in books and courses in search of a better day trading system and let me assure you that THIS BOOK IS worth the money and WILL provide you with a working day trading system. The first thing I considered when buying this expensive book was that the author is a moderator at bear bull traders and they therefore had alot to lose if he published a trading system that didn't work. Who would become a member if he did?? The book is not long and lays out a trading system that is easy to follow with clear entry and exit rules. When I started trading the system with real money after simulating for a week, the first thing I noticed was that I rarely got stopped out. The price moved in the direction I expected very soon after entryand thus allowed me to move my stop up to the profit zone. When the price started reversing, the signs detailed in the book were visible and I exited the trades. There are other benefits to this system as well. You tend to make fewer trades each day which reduces commissions, and your confidence in the system grows to a point where you don't get nervous making trades. You simply KNOW where the market is going most of the time. Yes, you have to put some work into it but the system is VERY easy to follow. You will need access to level 2 with as many visible levels as possible as well as being able to read the tape. Sounds like alot of work but it isn't. Thor makes it all easy to understand. For context, I only trade S&P 500 futures. BEST $50 I have spent in a long time. The only regret I have is that I didn't find this book earlier in my trading career.

Personally, I find that the afternoon session of the NASDAQ is particularly well-suited to this strategy. Furthermore, Thor's guidance on interpreting Level 2 and Time and Sales data is unmatched in its clarity and value. Only after incorporating this knowledge into my trading strategy did I realise how much I had been missing by not utilising Level 2 data. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Thor's book enough for those who are just starting their trading journey or for experienced traders looking to elevate their game. It offers an invaluable perspective on the market and provides a solid foundation for any trader to build upon.

I was wainting for this book, after read some other related with VPA and Pivot Points. This book is a great opportunity to learn a complete day trading system. This book is a good compilation of other books, but with the addition of Thor explanation and his experience. I'm not trading for some personal issues at the moment, but I can't wait longer to put every aspect of the book in practice and came back to BBT comunity. Thank you Thor for share your knowledge!

Starting with Andrews Book „How to Day Trade for a living“ im interested in learning more strategies with more data and find the book of Thor, out of the BBT community. It gives additional perspective how the market works and how you leverage all data that are existing to gain a competitive advantage. I like the book a lot and its written very easy. I've been a member of BearBull traders for some time, and have developed my own trading by stealing Thor's systematic approach to day trading. Although Thor is much more intuitive than I am, I have benefited immensely from his approach of using pivot points to buy low and sell high. I have only started his book, however, I know that this book will cater toward intraday day traders looking to get bigger moves out of their trades by playing the bottom and tops of longer term daily ranges. It won't cater so much to the scalper. As with all systems of trading, it is not going to instantaneously make you a successful trader, rather, it requires practice and patience, and waiting for confirmations from the market. What it will do, is define areas where you might want to look at buying, or shorting a stock, based on daily ranges. Make no mistake, if you adhere to the general principles of Thor's system, it will make you a more consistent, profitable trader by putting the odds in your favour.
