small, light and compact. so easy to keep in your emergency bag in the back of your car. looks and feels like a well made quality product. came out of the box nearly fully charged so I have no idea how long ago it was made but by all accounts they hold a full charge for around 6months. charges with USB C and comes with a cable so can be charged in the car on a long journey. good value during the Black Friday deals. good peace of mind having it in the boot going into winter. cold weather kills batteries.

This is the second Noco Boost GB20 I have had. My previous one failed after quite a few years - the on/off button stopped working. This one works fantastically on my little Micra battery to start it, when it is flat. I do not use my car a lot and white it is sitting on my driveway the battery loses power. This tool is a real boon. The only flaw with this new GB20 is that it did not come with any instructions, only a thick warranty booklet in many languages. This is fine for me, having had the same before because I know how to use it safely. I think it would be a definite problem for a new user, though. I can't understand why no operating details are included. I would have given five stars for this unit, however have only given four stars for the lack of instruction manual. The current price is fair value for money, in my opinion.

It seems to be a universal rule that cars only ever break down when it is difficult to get anything done about it. I needed to use mine for a short trip on Christmas day. After clearing ice off the windows, I got in, turned the ignition and nothing but a clicking noise. No one available to help, so I was unable to use the car that day. Thinking on the problem, I realised that for the past few weeks I had been using the car for work with the lights, heaters, dashcam, satnav and radio all on, followed by 5 days of only using the car twice for 1.5 mile trips to the local shop. Having intended to buy one of these boosters a while back for emergencies, I ordered a NOCO Boost Sport GB20 from Amazon (the cheapest NOCO model because my car is only a 1.2 litre, so well within the specified "up to 4 litre" range. The product arrived promptly, but unfortunately comes with only about 1/4 charge. The manual says to fully charge before use, which I estimated at 3 hours given the USB charger I was using. After the 3 hours were up, I clipped the leads to the battery, turned on the unit, gave it 30 seconds, crossed my fingers and then turned the ignition - it started first time. I ran the engine for 15 minutes and will try the car again in the morning when I can give it a good run without needing the headlights on. If it doesn't start again then I have the booster ready in order to get it started and get to a garage for a new battery. I really wish that I had bought one of these a year ago (as I was going to do after helping a work colleague jump start his car). From now on, this is going in the boot of the car and coming out every weekend for a recharge, just because it will give me peace of mind. Compact and very easy to use. Really pleased with this purchase.

Excellent. Simple to use and did the job quickly

This is essential. I have a near new r1250gs Rallye. Unfortunately I was in heavy traffic down town. Stop and go, with lights on. I inadvertently had left it in 3rd gear when I stopped for traffic. So the bike stalled on startup, then I tried again, realized I was not in neutral. With full lights, and 3 stalls, the battery was unable to crank the motor a 4th time. I called a tow truck for a jump start. I happily paid the $80. To get started and get home. The tow truck used one of these NOCOs So I went home and ordered it. I disconnected my bike battery to test this. It worked perfectly and It appeared to have lost minimal charge . I leave it in one the bike's panniers. I also attach my bike to a smart charger now when not in use.

Honestly I had my doubts. However it surprised me. It supposed to work for an engine with 4L. I used it in two times for two cars with a bigger engines (5-6L) and it worked perfectly. Not only did it work but I used it on these two cars at the same day. I mean I didnt even charge it full (it was 3/4 lights) and it started two bigger engine cars consecutively. Also it still has 3/4 lights 😂 If you need a jump booster this is the one to buy for sure.
