Yes, AquaChek test strips expire 18 months from the date of manufacture. To ensure accuracy, always check the expiration date printed on the top of the bottle cap before use. Using expired strips may result in incorrect readings.

Why are there 50 strips in each bottle?

Limiting the bottle to 50 strips helps ensure you’re using fresh, accurate strips throughout the season—especially since water chemistry readings are most reliable when the strips are fresh.

Should I stock up on test strips?

If you're testing your pool once a week as recommended a single bottle of 50 Yellow test strips is more than enough to last an entire swim season. There's no benefit to overstocking. Keep your bottle sealed and stored properly, and you'll be covered.

How should I store the test strips?

Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Do not remove the desiccant packet inside—it helps preserve strip accuracy.
