It Worked!
Okay, now I had my doubts about this do-hicky, but it worked! I had many VHS " posterity" videos transferred to DVD; there was one I missed. I didn't want pay the high cost of shipping for just one. Thought I'd give this a go.These are the cons, but it was due to my inexperience with this product and probably some user error:The software takes a bit of time to download.Be certain that you have recording volume all the way up ( I had it set a 50%)Adjust the size of the picture. These may seem like stupid things to mention, but just in case...ProsThis product was way inexpensive.Super easy to use.I am going to make another copy. This was well worth the time and you can't miss with the cost.

Plug and play magic
Plug and play with OBS. Works great. Captured hours of old VHS with it.Takes a bit of tinkering in OBS to get the aspect ratio and resolution right , but that a software thing and not an issue with the capture device.Highly suggested for capturing old video sources with standard AV output.

Pretty easy setup and surprising quality especially given price
This has been a pleasant surprise. I had no problem with setup and the product delivered sufficient quality audio and video. Takes a little tinkering to adjust windows settings for monitoring audio and suppressing echo but it all worked out.

Video grabber doesn’t work.
Didn’t work for me. My windows 10 and 11 wouldn’t recognize that it was plugged into usb, I downloaded the pot software and still nothing. I called their support line and no answer or return call.

Doesn't capture both fields of video.
This capture card only captures one field of video when recording. It also doesn't support a progressive mode for 60 frames. Whenever I back up tapes or record games, they lose frames, leading to a choppy playback. I tried fixing this by capturing video and doing manual deinterlacing for both fields, but it's just not recorded, or is being internally deinterlaced. It can record up to 50 frames per second, but not 60 for the NTSC standard. Can't recommend it for this massive glaring issue, unless you want your captures to look like butt.
