DO THE FIRMWARE UPDATE ON YOUR SPEAKER PRIOR TO USING THE HOME CHARGER
Ignore all these 1 star reviews saying the home charger doesn't work. It works exactly as it should as long as you update your speaker with the V2 firmware from JBL's website. Process was super quick and easy to do. JBL has picture instructions on how to do it. And yes, the Bassprogo will play music with the home charger connected and charging. If you're debating on getting this charger for yours, just do it. 100% worth it.

Charger works with a V2 BassPro Go, or once you upgrade to V2 software on an earlier version
Be sure to update the software of your JBL BassPro Go to the V2 version. The instructions are available at the JBL site; they walk through the process step-by-step and the Home Charging adapter works just fine with the speaker as long as it is a V2 version or has the V2 software upgrade.
