This is actually a review of a second set. The first set lasted me a few years and as I had no complaints, apart from a few poorly machined screws, I decided to get the same set again.*** Pros ***- Tidy box keeps everything together- Various sizes for most simple DIY tasks- 95% of the screws are of good quality- Good value for the duration of time they've lasted me*** Cons ***- Box is quite thin, so can easily crack- Box lid can come off if you drop it (this is simply the worst thing that will happen to your day)- 5% of screws will be rubbish*** Recommendation ***- If your just need some handy around-the-house- screws for putting up pictures and such, then these are great- If you're trying to build something large and want the best job, then look to a higher quality set of screws and plugs

USEFUL SELECTION.

I have used these for a couple of jobs now, and they do a job. Before buying I liked the fact there were screws and matching plugs in a set together, which I though would make things easier - which it does. There are two complaints I have though:1) A few of the screws have broken as I was screwing them in - they just snapped in half. I have never had this happen before so was very surprised. Possibly it was something I did wrong but I'm not sure how that could be the case2) In the box, tt wasn't set out like in the product picture. The difficulty with that is the location of the different size screws and plugs does not correspond with the diagram, and it is hard for me to tell which parts are what size.So they are ok, but I would not get them again.

I purchased these originally as I needed some wall plugs and thought rather than just get a specific size that i needed at the time, i'd buy an assortment. They've been great each time I've used them as none have fallen out or caused problems. I've had issues with cheap and nasty wall plugs that come with other things, such as a floating shelf, external lighting equipment etc. These have served great as replacements for just such occasions

Great value. Really sturdy

I use these to hang a variety of different store bought shelves and homemade shelves (out of copper pipe and pallet wood). I have found these whilst to be of acceptable quality, it isn't as strong and reliable as some of the other wall plugs i have seen or used. I have found a few of them collapsing or squishing when screwing into the wall and as a result had to somehow pull them out to replace with a new wall plug. Where possible, I have opted to use as many plugs as possible for whatever I am mounting. I suggest you do the same when using these.Fortunately this is quite a bargain of a pack - the value for money is great because you receive so many different pieces and different sized wall plugs. You receive both the plug and the screw which is great. I have found the ones that are larger to be of the best size and these ran out relatively quickly as there are fewer of these.
