This heater is just decent. It does not throw out much heat compared to other heaters I have used. I see no difference at all between the low heat and high heat settings - the fan noise is low. I'll keep this unit but others may want to consider another alternative unless you are heating a very small room.

Heats a room fairly quickly and has a nice touch interface. My only complaint is the control details. I wish that is was more clear what certain symbols meant on the interface

Over the years, I've come to depend upon Amazon Basics for solid products that are very reasonably priced. I've bought shoes, clothes, items for my kitchen. Uniformly, they've been very good products and have served my needs well.I obtained this tower heater for my son's drafty apartment. His windows leak air like nobody's business and the result is that the apartment is always cold, even on mild days.This heater did a very good job of heating the whole apartment, the heat flowing from one room into another. The heater came ready to use right out of the box. It was literally just plugging it in and good to go. The remote let's him control the heat levels and rotation.The sound is present, but its white noise, fading to nothing in just a few mins. My son has it programmed and it turns itself on and off according to his schedule. Its stable on its base (though there is a turnoff apparently if you tip it over), and we have it sitting on carpet. There is no excess heat through the base. We ran the heater for hours, then moved it and the temperature of the carpet remained room temperature.All in all, a very solid heater. It works well, fairly quickly and doesn't make a lot of noise doing it. This is exactly what I was hoping for when I ordered the heater and, if you are looking, I recommend this one!

This is a nice heater. It’s light to move around and has a handy handle on the top for that purpose. It has a remote, but you have to add your own 2 AAA batteries. The heater oscillates which works better for my space to distribute the heat quickly. I live in a drafty, old house, but this works great to heat the room I’m in. It will heat to the set room temperature, then it turns ‘off’ until the temperature drops below your setting. It then turns on again. There’s a lot of ways to enjoy this heater and I’m pleased to say these appliances have come a long way! They’re a lot ‘smarter’ than they used to be, so I was glad I read the booklet, so I’d fully understand its operation.
