Decent camera for the price
Overall seems like a good little camera. I tested the batteries and they all tested mostly full in charge so that was a plus. I appreciate the addition of class 10 SD cards and batteries in the pack. Straps seem durable and I love the alligator clips. Also ease of setting up is excellent. The only downfall on first impression is the hinges on the camera are the same as the $27 Tasco cameras. Pretty cheap design compared to my older coverts. Overall I'd say a great buy at the price, though.Update: both SD cards quit functioning after 2 weeks. I recommend NOT using the SD cards that come with the kit.

Mis-representing the ability of the product
The description of the product states the range as 100' but the packaging states 50'. This is a huge difference when planning on location of use of product. You might want to tell the truth rather than giving incorrect information.

Perfect for Parameter, Trail, wildlife and Yard Critters Recording
[Pros: Easy set up, fast mounting, good quality recordings, No APP, No Wireless Cons: SD card clearance on the case can be fiddley especially if you aren't planning to take the unit down between uses]Whether you are out at a remote cabin or at home wondering what is getting into your garden this system offers a very easy to use motion activated recording system. While there are other systems that use wireless transmission for real time information or apps so you can see it on your phone I prefer the SD card type as it is a closed system. Yes, people can easily steal the card, but if we are going to be honest with ourselves we have to admit all remote options are subject to human predators. We ran a couple of tests and what we found was that it performs best at high resolution for the video. Like any system you are going to have to guesstimate where you are likely to capture the best image of what is passing your trail cameras. After a few adjustments we found the right level for finding out what was spending its evenings exploring our garden. It was, as we suspected, racoons; see video. The only major drag was the SD card ejection function. Press it SHAPRLY if you want it to clear the edge of the casing, because if you just "press it" it will be at the exact height of the edge of the case which makes it a bit fiddley to get the SD card out. Performs very well for the price. This is a definite "Add to the Bug Out Bag" device even if it is just to go off into the woods for a bit.

They Work
Comes with everything you need to get started. I've had a handful of trailcams, and I don't recall any of them coming with the batteries and sd cards. Simple setup and operation, decent picture quality. I like that it only takes AA batteries, instead of those AND having to charge an internal battery for the computer side, like all my others have.Been catching bears, coyotes, and cats coming through at night.Wish I could get rid of the delay, and have it start filming immediately. Would also be cool to get sound, as sometimes I catch people. Would like for the plastic housing to be a little more ruggedly built, but it's okay. I'd also like to be able to take the watermark and time stamp off. But, all in all, I'm happy with them, and will continue to use them for wildlife observation and security. Like that you get two cameras for about the price of one, just giving up some features and maybe a little durability. Other than that, it seems like a good deal. I think a beginner, or someone who isn't very tech-savvy would like them.
