Stopped leaks! Hang dry to prevent bunching
These are great as added absorbancy without bulk. If you want them to remain flat rather than curled and scrunched then you need to hang dry them. Putting in the dryer is what causes bunching. When I take them out of the wash I run each one over the edge of the washing machine to smooth them out and flatten them. Then I hang on a clothes rack over night and they are dry in the morning. Very soft and flat/smooth. We use the Wecreeco/Nora’s Nursery pocket diapers. The inserts they come with are bamboo and microfiber. They are very absorbent but our son is a very heavy wetter and we were having lots of leaks. I ordered two packs of these doublers. I put one doubler on top of the insert and one underneath. Very minimal added bulk but we have had no leaks since. Great fix for minimal cost.

Decent Enough, Made with Pure Cotton
These liners do not absorb very much at all, and I generally will use two of them when lining for extra absorbency, but these are 100% cotton, which is simply not as absorbent as polyester. Anyone comparing them to a polyester liner (including "polyester fleece") or poly/cotton liner is not giving a fair comparison. You want pure cotton, expect them to not be super absorbent. I like the stitching along the edging as the material feels comfortable on the skin, so I feel good about using them and am not worried about feeling scratchy or uncomfortable. While I do wish they were thicker to help with that soaking power, I really like that they are completely cotton, so I know they will decompose properly once I am done with them. I did see several reviewers complaining about twisting after washing, and I would like to once again remind everyone that these are cotton. They are only stitched along the edges and have no reinforcement on the inside (which admittedly would be uncomfortable; could you imagine extra seams on your own underwear?), so they will "quilt" upon washing. It is impractical to expect a pure cotton liner to not twist and poof. I have noticed if I take them out of the dryer and fold them right after finishing, however, the twisting isn't too bad. So just remember, you get what you order. If twisting and super absorbency is something you care about, you will not find that in a pure cotton product. Go for either synthetic (polyester) or wool.

Decent product but I probably should have ordered a larger pad
The size is accurate and they are really thirsty. Right out of the package, I didn’t think the pads were soft to the touch. However, I washed them before using them and they became much softer. Because they are unbleached, the color isn’t a bright white…not really an issue for performance. Ideally I would like the pads to be a little longer for adult diapers, but I knew the size when I ordered so I didn’t downgrade my rating. I strongly recommend that the inserts are washed before using to get the best results.

Gives that little extra
Despite what the other reviewer said, I ordered these doublers. Man am I glad I did! I use prefolds with covers and my son started to leak through the newborn prefolds (2-4-2s only). I added a doubler on top of the prefold and I have a solution to get us by using what we have a little longer. Eventually I will have to switch to bigger prefolds (I already do at night) but I like that this adds a little extra absorbency without a ton of bulk. I will say that these are smaller than I expected. They are narrower than I would have preferred and are surprisingly thin but they do the job. It's kind of like buying the middle third of a prefold on its own. They are just as long as my infant prefolds. I can see myself using these over and over as my son transitions from one level of absorbency to the next. It's a great stopgap solution!

Absolutely love them. UPDATE!
UPDATE 2023: we've been using these for almost 5 years, through two babies. They are the same as when we bought them. No holes, no tears, they haven't worn out at all, and they're still going as stong as ever. My youngest just turned one, so they've got at least another year before I store them for a future grandbaby. And I have no doubt that they'll last through that child too. UPDATE: We've been using these for almost a year now and they're still good as new. Never came unraveled or got holes. Never shrunk any more than the initial wash, and don't hold onto smells or stains. Will definitely be able to store these away after son is potty trained for a future baby. ORIGINAL: I love them. They're the perfect size to fit inside a pad folded prefold. I use them at night and on long trips, and they work amazingly. One prefold and one of these boosters lasts about six hours. I am really happy with this purchase and will absolutely buy more when the ones I have wear out.

So-so
I use these to add to a thicker style insert. They are super thin and do not absorb a lot. I do like that they are wider than some of the others I've seen.

Best Investment!
I LOVE these!!! I’ve been using Alva Baby charcoal bamboo inserts since my daughter started fitting into one size pockets (3 mos) and they’ve been great-averaging about 4 hrs between changes. Unfortunately around 11 mos, they just couldn’t keep up and suddenly she was getting only 1 to 2 hrs out of each diaper. These looked like a great option for both trimness and price, but some of the reviews made me netrvous until one reviewer pointed out that a lot of the negative reviews were treating the product as the primary insert and not a booster so, I decided to try-worst case I was out ten dollars. I am so glad I got these!!!! As a booster (additional absorption paired with a primary absorbant insert, prefold, or flat) they are amazing! She is now getting 4 to 5 hrs out of a diaper, and they don’t make it bulky. One complaint that I saw was that they curl up and half to be ironed-this is not the case. The corners/edges curl a little but not enough to need to be ironed. I have no problem stuffing them in pockets with the slight curl. It could maybe be irittating in a cover where there isn’t anything holding it in place but not enough to need to he ironed or effect there ability to work. I honestly think these are one of the best cloth diapering Investments I’ve made and I would recommend them to anyone. Actually, I suggested them to my best friend and now she loves them too!!!
