Can I use a single dose vial more than once? As I don't need so much gel for one aplication and it's a waste to throw it.

The opened vial can be pushed back into the break-off tip to seal it until next time.

What happens if the vial touches the eye?

Nothing. Try not to though, as you'd poke yourself in the eye of course with the plastic. Remove the lid by twisting, add 1-2 drops in each eye, then replace the lid for a second use. If you have touched the eye with the plastic, disgard straight away. The reason they are in vials is that they contain no preservatives.

These are the most effective night time drops I have tried, and I have severe dry eye. Yes, they make your eyes blurry, but you should put them in when you are ready to go to sleep, then it doesn't matter. When I wake up my eyes are not sore, which is great. There are 30 units in a pack, so last for 30 days. I wish they were packaged in a different way, because they are difficult to use if you have arthritic thumbs, which I do. Also, there is more in each unit than you need, so there is a bit of wastage - which annoys me! I use the Thealoz drops in the little bottle through the day. The bottle lasts 3-4 weeks depending on frequency of use.

Do you use one vial per eye or does one vial do them both?

Hey there, You can use the vial for 1 drop in each eye but it must not touch the eye. Then this should be thrown away immediately, even if any gel remains in the vial. The dose is 1 drop per eye, 1 to 4 times a day. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us! :D
