Hair growth is not selective...
Seriously ladies (and gents perhaps), hair will grow everywhere hair grows. Just not sure if it is really helping the hair on my head grow. I used to be able to shave my legs every other to every two days, now I am shaving them every single day. My nails already grow fast, but I have notice that they are a bit stronger. I really have not noticed a difference with my skin though. When I run out, I do plan to repurchase however only because I did not use a ruler or anything to actually measure the hair growth on my head. For black women, it is harder to see how fast our hair grow to the naked eye because it does not grow straight. My hair does grow the average rate of 1/2 inch every month though, so it might be growing... not sure. I will have to actually find my ruler and measure it. I'm sure it is, because it is growing everywhere else at a rapid rate. I take this every morning with a women's 1aday vitamin as well, usually with orange juice. I normally do not eat right away as recommended, but I'm sure it still gets the job done one way or another. I will be updating either in a month or when I find my ruler, which ever is first. Update 8/7/2014: I just found my ruler and my hair is at 9 inches. I will do another measure update on 9/7/2014 to see where my hair is and will post my results. Update 9/8/14 (a day late... sorry) I just did a length check and I have gained an extra 1/2 inch!!! So my current length is 10 inches, up one full inch from last month! So this is a good product because it does what it says. So I changed the rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. I kept forgetting to take the supplements and my hair still grew quicker. I actually missed one full week because I started a new work schedule and just kept forgetting to take them and my hair still grew an extra 1/2 inch. I was also supposed to purchase more of this product, but I will be purchasing the other one that says 'plus' to see how fast my hair can grow with that. *Note: My hair is fully natural and I had to straighten a piece of my hair just to measure it because I could not tell that my hair grew longer with the naked eye. My hair is a combination of 4a, 4b, and 4c I believe. I use coconut oil, the Cantu with Shea butter, and sometimes gel ('black gel' by Ampro or the eco gel; olive oil (the green one)). I used the Beautiful Textures curl definer and that worked really well for my twist-outs. The coconut oil is a staple product that I use all the time, the other products are something that I am just trying. I am really just trying to find something that will work well with the textures that I have. Feel free to suggest any to me. Thanks :) I also try to use shampoo that is low in sulfates. Further, I wash my hair every other day and I rinse my hair every other day. So if I do not wash it, I rinse it. If I am not rinsing it, I am washing it. But I am at least wetting my hair everyday in the shower and conditioning it. This has helped me to retain length apparently. But of course, this is my own regimen and may not work well for others, so do what works for you. If you do not know what works for you, try it my way to see if it helps retain your length.*

Skeptical at first but works for me!
I am still speechless. First, a bit of background. Following many surgeries, one pregnancy, and high levels of stress, I started to lose my hair: I am talking handfuls everyday. Over ten years, I have tried many (very) expensive supplements from Rene Fureter, Kerastase and Natrol to name a few. I have also tried Rogaine. Every shampoo was a nightmare, every brushstroke led to hair everywhere on my bathroom floor. Fewer and fewer on my scalp!. It also got much thinner. I started a hair serum by Natrol a few months back. I didn't notice much difference but it says to give it at least three months. In the meantime, I decided to opt again for supplements to "supplement" the serum (knowing that i wouldn't use it everyday because it leaves the hair greasy and i didn't want to make things worse by washing my hair everyday). I ordered Maxi-hair because I couldn't spend too much on the supplements and because it got some rave reviews. To give it a fair assessment, I have to precise that I also started to rinse my hair with a homemade apple cider vinegar-tea tree oil mix once a week. I am unsure if it is because of the rinse, the serum finally working (although I use it very irregularly), Maxi-hair alone or a combination of the three. All I can tell is that within two weeks of taking Maxi Hair, I saw a definite, striking change in my hair loss. I have very few hair in my tub after shampooing and barely any hair on the floor after brushing. I don't see yet much difference in the thickness of my hair but again it has been a month so the new hair is still short. However, if you have oily skin, it might not be for you (depending on what matters the most to you). I have started to get some bumps (like light acne) on my forehead and my posterior neck area. To me, it is well worth it and I will keep the small bumps if it means no more hair lost! However, I have a thin, dry to normal skin, so it is no big deal and doesn't disfigure me! I am not sure it comes from the supplements but the timing coincides. It is worth giving Maxi Hair a try!

Stopped my thinning!
I bought this product specifically for hair re-growth, my hair has been thinning from stressful events I've been dealing with, and has been progressively thinning out since about September of 2010. So for about 7 months now it has been falling out in clumps everday in the shower, and just recently over the last 3 months I've started to notice a huge difference in the volume of my hair, and the density in my hair line. I started in December taking all kinds of other vitamins, I've tried Ginko Biloba, natural rosemary shampoos, herbs, olive oil, all kinds of things to try and bring my hair back to life. I wanted to try one or two more things before I resort to using Minoxidil, because I really want to go the natural route. I started this Maxi Hair pill on March 23rd, I've been taking 1 pill in the morning for about 3-4 weeks now. I expected that if I don't see any noticeable change in my hair by now that there probably isn't going to be in the future. Just recently in the last few days I've begun to notice that it has really slowed down on the amount of hair I'm losing everyday. I noticed just a few areas there is really light hair regrowth. Unfortunately the texture and dryness of my hair hasn't changed, and I still don't really see any change in my nails or skin at all. These pills are good but I feel like I need something extra so I ordered Tropical Isle Living - Jamaican Black Castor Oil kit so I'm hoping that will give my hair an extra boost to grow faster and stronger. Maxi Hair is a great vitamin to help hault the excess loss of hair, and to help new growth. I would recommend this product for women who are experiencing thinning due to stress, or anyone looking to generally improve their hair.

"Was doubtful... but I was wrong." UPDATE: A WHOLE YEAR LATER....
So I made the change of removing my individual hair extension at the start of this year. My hair had so much damage I decided to not get them reinstalled. I am a model and during my peak season I would style my hair every single day with straightening, curling, etc. The only care I would give my hair is an egg and avocado hair mask treatment once a month. However, that would matter anyway as part of the initial guidelines given to me when I first got hair extensions is to NOT put conditioner on my roots, because they would lubricate the links that kept my extensions in. So my actual would never, ever get any love. I even shampooed less to save my extensions from drying out and not realizing that my scalp was suffering! So this bring me to the reason I bought this. When I had my extensions removed I was distraught at the state of my own locks. They were dry and brittle. They seem to be suffering from so much damage. So I decided to just purge myself of the issue. I got my hair cut to my chin... But as a girl who was used to having 22" extension hair, I felt nostalgic. A Makeup Artist referred this product to me when I complimented her hair during a shoot. Thank goodness I remembered what she said, because I needed help. I was a bald baby girl, and my hair naturally grew very slowly. One of the "joys" of being me. :( So I decided to buy this and try it out. I figured i had nothing to lose. In one month my hair grew a little MORE than an inch. My hair has NEVER shown that kind of growth rate in my life. Now that I have been out of this product for another month... I've noticed the decline. It has grown about half as fast as last time. I can't wait to buy another bottle. I think I will try the time release one i saw at Whole foods. It's just very pricey for how fast it went for me. (Twice a day?! The stuff just didn't last.) If you have concerns about your hair... these work really well. I was skeptical, but believe that this supplement will help with more than just growth. It has ingredient that improve the health of your hair and what girl doesn't feel sexy when her hair is!? UPDATE: Hello! It's been a year since I've started using MAXI HAIR. I've had about 3 routine trims since then. My chin-length hair now falls to the bottom of my chest area. My hair is thicker now as well. I found this out, because I like wearing single-sided updos secured with bobby pins, and now, I use twice as many pins to keep it up. I've even got my mom using MAXI HAIR as well, although we do agree it is pricey. I believe it's worth it though. My hair is so healthy now and I can't wait to see where it is by the end of the year. :)

Really, really works!
I had to slow down on this supplement because my hair was growing THAT FAST! I actually didn't buy it for that reason, but it was easy enough to see that the supplement was having an impact. The reason I did buy it, is a little gross, but maybe informative? I was saddened to find I had some toe-nail fungus. Yuck. Think it was caused by some wellies I have, they are all rubber, and hence do not let your feet breathe, at all. Long story short, I didn't want to opt for the prescription method of dealing with it, since it is hard on your liver, (your Dr. has to do liver enzyme tests while taking it to make sure it isn't causing too much damage). Lets just say I put my liver through enough in my days as a bartender, and to forgo any further avoidable damage. So, the problem, (or part of the problem), with trying to get rid of the fungus is that the toe nails grow very slowly. So, I started soaking my feet in vinegar, (low pH kills the fungus), and cut away the nail where it was infected, (to allow air & vinegar to penetrate). In addition to all that, I started taking this supplement to speed up my nail growth. 3 months later..all gone and back to normal. Takes about that long for the pill to work anyway? The vinegar I only did every other day or so, for a week or two, FYI. I really think the air exposure, and increased nail growth really did the trick. Sorry if I have thoroughly grossed you out, but maybe someone out there will find it useful?

Maxi Hair vitamins
I just wanted to give my two cents about these vitamins. They are what everyone else have stated - they are kinda large, they smell, and they make your urine a bright neon yellow. I tried to drink as much water as possible while taking these. They did not work for me as they did for so many others. I didn't notice anything different with my hair, such as making it grow faster or become thicker. The worst thing for me about these vitamins is that they broke me out horribly!! I rarely get pimples but after about two - three weeks I had huge cysts-like pimples on my cheeks - by my ears and on my chin. It took me a while to put two and two together - but now I realize that these pills were breaking me out. I have about 10 left out of the 90 pills and I will not be taking them anymore. I was taking women's centrum - one a day, and will continue to take those. Everyone's different and I realize that what works for one person may not work for the next. So disappointing though - I was expecting the same rave results that so many experienced...

I have trich and this changed my life!
I have never been much of a pill taker but I decided to give this a try. I bought it primarily for my nails and did not expect much from it. I am almost finished with my first bottle of 90 pills and I'm stunned by the results. Not only are my nails stronger but my hair is growing faster and my skin has a healthy glow to it. As I mentioned in my title I also have trich (a hair pulling disorder) I have recently learned that this condition is more common than I had ever imagined. When I'm stressed I pick at my lashes and was very depressed when a noticable bald spot opened up. Since I have suffered from this condition since I was a child I know it usually takes about 2 months for lashes to fully grow back in but NOT with this product!!! It's only been a few days and my embarrasing condition is hardly noticeable. That is just amazing to say the least. Also, I have read quite a few reviewers stating that their skin is breaking out and that happened to me too! I stuck it out though and I'm so glad that I did. It was almost like my skin had to purge and shed or whatever but the end result it glowing youthful skin (i'm 33 and I no longer need to use an illuminator to get this look!) I also wanted to point out that I had a tummy tuck two years ago and since I have taken this product I have noticed the scar has faded quite a bit. I was really excited to be able to wear my bikini this summer and not have to worry about a frankenstein belly button! This is the best stuff ever!!!!

Good Product
I decided to try this supplement since it got good reviews. This products works, I recently cut my hair short and wanted it to grow back more healthy, Within two weeks my family saw the results! As for the skin and nails I really didn't see any changes, my nails were always in good condition and my skin too! I only took one pill a day because i wanted to make sure it correlates with my body. Before taking any supplement you should consult your doctor and if you have any affects that you never had before then you should stop the use. But, your urine will be like a bright yellow color, which is normal (from the other reviews and research i did). I finished the bottle and i will not be retaking these supplements, I'm trying to do everything natural, so fruit and veggies for me!!
