Fantastic set
Lovely quality pieces nice and sturdy with soft pad at the bottom so quiet to move. Were purchased for a chess table so great size. Box is good, quite difficult to open catches but wouldn’t put me off buying again.

Decent quality for price.
I started playing again recently after several decades of not doing so, needed some new, slightly larger pieces (but not a board). I dont feel I need expensive "arty" pieces and these seemed about right.They are as I expected: simple, no frills but just what I wanted.The storage box should last and (given I had my old pieces over 40 years) these should see me through. For anybody wanting a simple set at this size, I would recommend - but keep in mind there are no spare queens with here.

They are well made, and very comfortable to play.

Lighter than expected
I returned these items because they were very light and also pretty small. For the price I would’ve expected larger and heavier pieces, I would not recommend these. I guess the price is due to them being hand crafted, but the glue is visible on them. To me this seems like a standard quality product being sold at a top quality price. I think they should cost £15-20 as £50 is way too expensive.

Nice set
I'm very much a casual chess player, but the pieces are a nice size and feel. They look great too.

The wooden pieces are nicely made and feel right.
The chess set are well made and are well crafted and come in a good wooden box. My only criticism is that the inside of the box is bare rather than lined with felt.
