Simple and easy to use.
Works like a charm, speeds within what was expected but depends more on the microSD than on the adapter itself.A bit overpriced (hence the 4 stars) and if it was all black would be even better, maybe a second version with a black rubber top to block dust would be great.

Disappointing
Wanted a sleek microSD sdcard adapter for a half profile SD card slot on an XPS. This is highly rated so I figured I can't go wrong.However, I'm regretting buying it. It's an absolute nightmare trying to eject a microSD card from it, I ended up needing to use tweezers and scraping the card u til it finally came out. Also it doesn't fit very flush in the XPS and sticks out a fair bit.I'm guessing this is because the zps has no spring mechanism allowing you to push the card in to have it spring out. So you need something to stick out to hold onto to pull it out. Regardless it sticks out a lot, more the I think it needs.Finally despit the high price and the promise of it being metal, it's extremely flimsy and the metal edge practically comes away from the plastic tray without effort.

Aluminium Micro SD Adapter
Very good Micro SD adapter. With a suitable card I managed to add another 200GB to my new XPS. Adapter fits XPS perfectly and, when in place cannot be seen.

Good - but note that this does stick out by a couple of mm on the 2017 model (9560)
Really like that this exists - giving 4/5 only due to high price.Hopefully baseqi will release an updated version soon as this model does not fit flush in the 2017 model of the XPS 15 (9560), it sticks out approximately 2mm.

A warning to fellow XPS 9550 owners.
A warning to fellow XPS 9550 owners.While this looks good in the laptop it is very poor quality. The plastic is very thin and poor in quality, my cheap chinese adapter is much more robust than this adapter. The BASEQI stopped recognising my Micro SD card and after removing it several times, the metal section became very wobbly.I sent mine back for a refund.
