Eco zoom stove
I bought this stove due to to the great reviews it had it is of good solid built weight to keep it sturdy.Great piece of camping kit, so pleased I brought this stove it’s a great colour and size and works so well only needing a few twigs and sticks or charcoal also works well. Used many times now and it’s great also giving some extra heat on those cooler nights. Love cooking on it so very easy to use and clean up after.

Briiliant and effective
If you are looking for a convenient, cook outdoors stove then this is one of the best. It is so versatile and efficient that you don't need to carry fuel with you as you're likely to be able to find enough at your campsite. The stove is on the heavy side for backpacking (although if a group were spreading the load it would be OK, especially the Lite model (as reviewed). It is brilliant for vehicle dependent trips/overlanding etc. There's a knack to lighting it (the temptation is to use too much material), but that's quickly learnt. We have used it with a Dutch Oven (6ltr) and with the supplied pot-skirt, it's a brilliant combination. We have cooked stews, roasted chicken, griddled meat, heated flat breads etc etc, the limit is your imagination. The stove is built to last and the Lite version means that there is no ceramic to worry about when transporting. The versa allows both charcoal and wood to be burnt, the former is great for simmering stews and roasting. The stove is relatively safe if you have children, dogs and the like running about the place. It does get hot to touch, but will sit on a wooden table without marking it. Food tastes great with the added flavours that go with woodsmoke and seasoned cookware. This may, in part, be because you can achieve higher cooking temperatures than with domestic gas. There is something special about how this more natural approach slows you down, it's just more enjoyable. The whole deal is made better as EcoZoom donate a stove to the developing world for every one sold (check them out on Facebook or on the web)

So so so very glad I bought this little power house of an outdoor stove.
Amazing and works beyond all my expectations. We live in the rural north Yorkshire(uk) and have no access to gas. My wife, me and our friends are great fans of curry and despite what any chef on TV or the internet may tell you - you need to cook curry at high temperature. Electric heat works but only just when cooking. But this little stove has allowed me to showcase my knowledge of curry and cooking. Wow. really. Its compact and well built. I tried initially with charcoal - but the heat produced was ok. And then I used wood and wow again.Small amounts of fuel, collected from the garden, produce huge amounts of heat. I regulated the temparate by added and removing burning wood and it was controlled perfectly. For those interested I cooked a Rogan Josh this Saturday afternoon in the garden.

excellent outside cooker
really easy to use , heats up quick , uses a fair bit of wood so you have to keep on top of it even when closing the bottom door but love it !

Impressive stove - really happy
The media could not be loaded. I've used this to cook breakfast on several occassions now; I've used everything from kindling to branches to junk mail! Does it deserve the name 'Rocket Stove'? Absolutely. See the attached video and how wide those flames get when burning wood. The quality of build is amazing. I'm prepared to believe that it'll work for thousands of cooks! This is not as portable as a Kelly/Ghillie Kettle, but it is certainly luggable. What you lose in portability you gain in terms of chamber sizes and the size of pan you can cook with. The bigger chamber size means you're not constantly having to add fuel; you can actually get on with food preparation at the same time.Very easy to clean: the fuel is reduced to ashes in the inferno; just give it a brush-out once its cooled.

Excellent Rocket stove
After almost 2 years, still going strong. It needs a bit of learning and practise to light the fire inside, open bottom air door completely and plenty of sticks to burn for 5 minutes then start cooking and load bigger sticks. at this stage you can close 3/4 air flow door to reduce the flame to avoid burning food, this thing is really powerful! don't overload with wood it will kill the fire but make sure to reload regularely with wood otherwise fire will die quickly. Finally, this thing works so well. I cook on cast iron skillet (you need strong cookware, this thing is a beast) chicken, burgers and so on. they were cooked beautifully and so delicious. So nice to cook in your garden when weather is fine. After use I empty the ashes in a terra cotta plate and I put a coat of vegetable oil on top to avoid rust and store in his bag. No water inside the stove to clean it, you will ruin the thing! Very good quality and it really works.

Great environmentally friendly cooker, built to last!
This stove burns just about anything you can find around the campsite, it lights easily with a couple of organic firelighters and some kindling and then heats up quickly to provide a powerful cooker. It took about 10mins to get it hot enough to cook a family sized omelette. Once it was going it took little effort to keep it burning. After eating the stove became the heart of the camp, a controlled safe fireplace to sit around and enjoy the evening. The stove is compact but not lightweight, the solid build quality will make sure this lasts a lifetime of use and is totally dependable. Feels great not burning gas and not having to pay for fuel either!
