I brought the kindle version as I rather using surface when cooking then a book as it easier.Got a bit overwhelmed by all the information but I plucked up the courage and dived into the 'meat and poultry' section. I have to say it was surprisingly quick and easy and yummy! Beat tasting thing I cooked in awhile.

This book has been a great help in learning about Japanese cuisine ingredients used and how to cook it .

Nice to see an easy cookbook from a different culture, the recipes are tasty and easy to prepare, given time no doubt I will have a favourite but right now it is just gastronomic adventure.

This was a perfect Christmas gift for our friends son.He liked the recipes and it was easy to make.

Very disappointed that the recipes are in American measurements - this was not made clear, and such measurements are very inaccurate. Recipes look adequate.
