Lock the beer can in place on the roasting tray to give a stable base for the bird. Fill the can with your favorite beverage (beer, wine, soft drink, etc.) Baste the bird (chicken, turkey, duck, etc.) with Olive oil or your favorite rub. Use the herb shaker to mix your dry rub/herbs and shake all over the bird. For oven cooking - Place roaster into a larger roasting tray to catch splashing or leaking juices. Cook in the oven, outdoor grill or smoker at 380˚F / 180˚C (Ensure meat is fully cooked) When cooked remove from the oven/griller/smoker and rest for a few minutes.
