It's genuine silk and very nicely made. It blocks out light well and is comfortable. The nose gap is a good size. I'm white and have a medium-sized nose with a high bridge and have zero issues. I machine washed it and air-dried it flat and haven't had any problems with the padding being distributed unevenly.

WOW. This simple and inexpensive device will save me a ton on skincare and sleep. It's lightweight, foldable, and soft. It blocks out ALL light. Very comfortable for a fidgety sleeper with lots of long hair. The velcro is strong and does not pull my hair out. And best of all, no sleep lines on my face. I am a side sleeper, so creases, wrinkles on my forehead and around my eyes have been an issue.
