So... I ordered the "Viking Chainmail 3D Carved Mug" with a bit of trepidation (fear, apprehension, dread, nervousness, worry, unease...) because there weren't any reviews. And at the (at that point) price of $64.99 it was a pretty big chunk of money to throw at something that no one else had bought. But... I went ahead and clicked "Submit Order" and waited. Delivery was quick, now that the holiday season was past, and four days after ordering it was in my hands. I opened the box and found a burlap sack with a drawstring closure, so that was a nice touch. Opening the sack, I pulled out the mug which was wrapped in not one but TWO layers of bubble wrap. So now my opinion is pretty high. I lovingly removed the bubble wrap and was rewarded with my first glimpse of $65 worth of what is purportedly (supposedly, allegedly) mango wood. Now, I've never seen mango wood in person so I can't tell you if it is or not...but I CAN tell you that this is a very nicely done mug. I don't know if I necessarily believe that it's "100% Handcrafted" but it IS definitely a mug (stein, tankard, flagon) of good quality. Whenever I buy a drinking vessel, the first thing I do is to break out my trusty (reliable, dependable, faithful, loyal, tried and true) Pyrex measuring cup to verify the volume (capacity, size, proportions) of whatever vessel it is I've received. I was extremely surprised, and more than a little giddy, to realize that the supposedly 16oz mug I purchased will hold a whopping 24oz to about a 1/2 inch from the top of the rim! :O Which makes it an even better deal... instead of paying $4 per ounce capacity, I ended up paying $2.70 per ounce capacity! With the mug I received (got, ended up with, obtained, acquired), the detail is fantastic. I'm not sure how likely I am to believe that this is legitimately 100% handcrafted... Hand-finished, perhaps. But comparing it to the detail of the images on the screen (display, monitor, visual display unit), it's literally almost identical. That doesn't change the appeal, however... It's not as heavy (weighty, hefty, ponderous, dense) as I would have expected it to be, but that may be simply due to the mango wood - again, I'm not familiar with mango wood, so maybe it's pretty lightweight. I will say that having now quaffed (consumed, drank, swallowed, guzzled, imbibed, attacked, finished off) my first full tankard of beverage, this is a purchase that I'm very happy with. The detail is fantastic, it's high quality, and gosh-darn-it... it just looks good sitting on my table. Now I'm going to definitely have to get into making (manufacturing, producing, creating) my own mead and hard cider to fill it with!

Have dropped these doing dishes and they handled it great! Love these... Hope to get a few more and wish they wouldale may hing plates.

Beautiful design and great for coffee, tea, or ale. I wish the varnish went down the outside of the cup where your lips touched though.

The details on this mug are absolutely gorgeous; I bought this for my friends birthday and was so excited for them to open the gift. I'm was blown away by how well it was made; I'll buy again for sure.
