Protektor Model#54B Flint Lock Cover Suede Leather, Multi

This fits my Tennessee Mountain Rifle very well and provides a LOT of coverage to protect the lock area from foul weather. I applied Mink Oil to mine on the outside and it readily soaked it up. Under a faucet the water now just beads off. I recommend this procedure as well as it adds an extra dimension to the weather protection as well as protecting the leather.

Love this item on my Great Plains Lyman 50. It’s a little stiff but fully expect for it to soften over the next few seasons. Will definitely keep powder dry !Only negative is the tie down is somewhat small and may need some better lacing down the road.

Used this on my muzzleloader on a snowy day and it kept my powder dry.
