Tasty low carb pasta
A Game-Changer for Low Carb Eating Kaizen Low Carb Keto Pasta is the closest thing I’ve found to regular pasta while staying keto. The texture holds up really well—no soggy noodles—and it has a mild, clean taste that goes great with any sauce. It’s high in protein, very filling, and doesn’t spike my carbs for the day. I’ve tried it in Alfredo, marinara, and even cold pasta salads, and it works every time. It cooks quickly, and the portion size is generous. If you’re on keto or just watching your carbs, this pasta makes sticking to your diet so much easier. Absolutely worth the price.

Good flavor, great alternative to regular pasta
A little pricy but a great option for high protein low carb option. This cooks completely different than normal pasta, and I highly encourage you to stand at the pot the entire time to stir it so it doesn’t boil over. Cooks up in about 6 minutes, has a similar taste to regular pasta and when mixed with a sauce or other items you can’t really tell the difference. The pasta by itself however has a unique flavor. It’s not bad at all but it is different from regular pasta. If meal prepping, I’d encourage you to only make enough for 1-2 days out. Any longer than that and it tends to “breakdown” and get an almost gritty texture. This is probably one of the better alternatives I’ve tried and easily recommend it as a go. You get a lot of noodles in the box and can easily portion out several helpings worth

No Bueno :(
I was really excited to try this product, but unfortunately, I don’t think I would buy it again. The idea of a pasta pot with only 130 calories per serving sounded amazing, but the experience fell short. The flavor was extremely weak, and after cooking it and letting it sit for about an hour, the pasta absorbed all of the sauce. Instead of holding its texture, the pasta turned into something closer to pudding. The flavor itself was also very strange, and while I thought I could fix it by adding my own sauce, that didn’t help at all. Overall, it was disappointing and not something I’d recommend or repurchase.

Very good but price is too high
This was quite good! The only reason I’m leaving off a star is because this is EXPENSIVE! Especially in that the amount is less than a box of regular pasta. I won’t be able to buy this very often and that makes me sad. It is a firmer pasta so if you like al dente like I do, you’ll like this. I’m sure you can cook it longer if you like softer pasta. Cooks quick, only 5 minutes. The taste is neutral (not beany) which I appreciate. Overall, it’s a good substitute if you have a pasta craving while on low carb diet.

it has a texture and taste of whole wheat pasta
I enjoyed that each serving boasts very low net carbs and a good protein boost, thanks to lupini flour.. It gave me the flexibility to have “pasta night” without feeling like I was breaking my low-carb or keto plan. That was fun from a mental & meal variety perspective.

Texture is not great
I really really wanted to like this. I tried the fusili. I had to cook it an extra three minutes for the center of the corkscrews to be cooked through. I kept checking for doneness but without the extra time it was very chewy, even hard at the centers. Having to cook it longer made the outside of the corkscrews get a bit too soft. The taste is very pasta like, the texture not so much. It tends to get a mealy texture as you're chewing. Not good enough to forego real pasta.

Finally a gluten free keto pasta that actually tastes good!
Finally a gluten free keto pasta that actually tastes good. Tastes so much like regular pasta that I had to keep reading the box to be sure it was really gluten free. Holds up really well cooked. I weigh out my portion before cooking and it only takes about 5 minutes to cook. There are only 6 net carbs to a serving! So now I can enjoy Mac and cheese without having to worry about it! This pasta hold well with a sauce over it too. Doesn’t fall apart. Made really good whole ingredients so you can feel good about what you’re putting in your body!

I really wanted to like this...
I feel like we gave this the best try we could but it just ended up being disappointing. As others have said, the cook time estimate is wildly inaccurate: the package claims 4-5 minutes but pulling it at 5 still resulted in, let's face it, raw pasta. Not al dente. RAW. Had to cook it to about 10-12 minutes, (not the end of the world as most other dried pastas take about that long) before it lost that "raw" texture and flavor. Problem is, it became mealy and kinda gritty. I even tried it at one minute increments from about 6 min to when we pulled it off at 12 and it never quite got to the right texture. It's gummy, sticks in between your teeth, and is just generally unpleasant. The taste isn't bad, tho there's no mistaking this for traditional pasta. Just sorta bland with a slight nutty note. I mixed what I made into a pasta salad, (vinaigrette, tomatoes, garbanzos, pepperoni, pepperoncini, olives, mozz balls, green onion and blanched spinach. Mangia!) and it was better than just eating it alone, especially after it rested in the fridge a little and absorbed some dressing, but still kinda on the gummy side. Sorry, Kaizen. I really wanted to love this but I don't think I'll be buying it again, especially considering how much more expensive it is than supermarket pasta.
