Perfect for game nite! Good to keep busy, fun, easy to learn, game of luck also strategy. 2-8 players! Lots of different games/versions to learn. This set in particular has made us very happy. A little dent on the tin is no biggie and the company is so quick to respond & nice if you need any dominoes- replaced for those really competitive people who don’t want any marks to identify pieces! That only matters on the back side primarily. Great set w/8 different toned metal trains :-) & the wooden hub is perfect. The dominoes & pips are uniform in size, & the colors are just how we learned with and like, & that’s with pink 7s! Colors are bright (not too bright), uniform, & varied nicely. Comes with everything except scoring pad or chicken foot pieces. The pieces stand up without a stand just fine, until you accidentally bump one & then of course, you have the “ Dominoe effect!”

Got this after playing Mexican Train at a friends house. Had such a good time I decided to get a set and get the family involved. Was shipped quickly, came on time, well boxed/packed and in good order. Tin came in perfect condition, no dents dings or scratches. All tiles were accounted for. The metal trains are a nice touch as opposed to the plastic versions and I like the wood "station" is better than the thin flimsy black plastic one that my friends set has. Tile size is same as the other sets I've seen and the pips are well marked (no faded/missing paint. As far a the color of the pips, we've had no problems differentiating between colors. Brighter colors WOULD be a nice touch though... maybe some fluorescent colors. All in all a pretty nice set that I wouldn't mind buying again or giving as a gift. If I HAD to think of a con it would only be that it doesn't come with scorepads... not really a con though as most of us have access to a pen & paper but it would have been nice to include. Recommended
