I bought two pieces of this pattern for a special gift. It arrived fast and in perfect condition plus the glasses came in labeled boxes for gift wrapping and each glass was wrapped with care in special tissue paper. I was proud when the gift was opened and the Waterford name was displayed on the boxes. The beauty and elegance of the gift spoke for itself. This was a gift for a 25th Jubilee celebration. These glasses are sturdy, beautiful, wash nicely and make you feel special when you use them. Since they are a well built glass, you can use them.... They are not just for beauty! I love them and have ad Waterford Lismore in several styles for years. I highly recommend them for you!

This is LEAD Crystal.

This glass may not be cheap, but it is a statement maker. For people who have some coin, they like to drink their cocktails out of nice glasses. Waterford isn't to be confused with Swarovski. This is the real deal. The glass weighs a significant amount and just makes you feel good when you're drinking your single malt scotch out of them. If you have a family member that you can never seem to find a gift for, start buying these.....great for christmas, birthdays, and fathers or mothers day. 4 years later they have a full collection that they are proud to have, and you'll be proud that you gave to them. Please don't be confused. There's two glasses in this picture. there is ONE glass in the order!.

ordered two of these as a gift. they came packaged loosely but wrapped in paper inside the small waterford cardboard box, which was delivered in an unpadded paper mailer bag. one survived, the other was so smashed, i didn't even take it out of the paper. since this buy was time sensitive, i replaced the broken one with one from my own collection for the gift, and waited for the replacement.upon receipt and actually putting the glass next to my existing ones, i noticed big differences. namely, a sharp edge on the bottom(vs round and kind of beveled), mouth slightly wider, glass lighter in weight(my heaviest is 446g vs 372g on the one i have here), slightly different shape, the horizontal cut line lower, as well as a seemingly "sharper" pattern than ANY of my existing lismore pieces, smoother surface of the actual glass(you can see that well in the photo: all my existing waterford is "grainy" like that when the light falls just right), yet clearly the refractory quality and sound of crystal, albeit with a much shorter ring. this, in combination with the inadequate packaging made me insecure to the term that i sent the replacement back thinking it's fake. i got a refund and bought the glass directly from waterford because i wanted to know. (full disclosure, i'm sorry).other than the box now being gray vs the blue(i actually bought directly from waterford two months ago and i remember the box to have still been blue as well), the glass that came from the manufacturer is identical to what this shop sent me, so it is authentic. however, anyone looking to replace/add to older double old fashioned glasses will not find an identical replacement in these. the only negative is how it was sent. then again, the replacement came in a sturdy box...IMPORTANT: after writing all this, i found out that waterford has REMOVED THE LEAD from its crystal and created a new formula, in an effort to be more environmentally friendly. it explains everything above. in the picture you see the new style glass(with sticker on left), vs the older generation.

When having my favorite bourbon or single malt, it's even better in a beautiful, heavy, crystal glass. These fit the bill perfectly!
