Look no further
My grandparents had a percolator, and I used to sit on the barstool and just watch it percolate. My grandparents let me drink coffee out of a demitasse.I purchased this product just to bring back good old memories, however I was quite surprised when I realized it wasn’t my coffee that was a miss, it was my coffee pot. This percolator gets five stars. I had full flavor from my coffee very fast, and the hottest coffee I ever experienced so be careful when you take your first sip. It’s not a drip, drip, drip lukewarm warm….. I will be purchasing another one for my office. What a joy to have something that works perfectly. Why did they ever change it?

Good! Good!
Only had it a short while, but really enjoying the coffee from it. Needs a course ground. Only negative is that it requires more coffee than a pour over. A little added expense for a pot of coffee but really enjoying the flavor.

Great quality
A very well made coffee maker. However, after brewing, the coffee is not very hot. No. I am not one of those people who likes coffee scalding hot. But the coffee maker I purchased requires that I place it in the microwave for about 40 seconds to get it steaming, otherwise the little bit of cream I use makes it even cooler. Makes great tasting coffee though, and fast.

Works Great
I have had this pot for 3 years and it is still going strong. My mil is getting one for Christmas this year. I like that it is lightweight, easy to keep clean, makes good coffee and keeps it very warm. I like that I can store it to free up counter space

Bad
I could not wait to get my percolator. I have been wanting to go back to the old style for many years. I have tried using this twice thinking that maybe I was having a learning curve both times it turned out horrible. Both cups of coffee were full of coffee grinds in the bottom of my coffee cup, and the coffee was extremely weak. It was also very noisy and shook so badly. I thought it would fall off the countertop. It definitely does not have the good flavor that my mother‘s old-fashioned percolator had. I believe she had something called West Bend, which I don’t even think they make anymore, and there was absolutely no plastic in that percolator. I will be sending this back. I bought this one because of the lack of plastic it had in it. But the lid is made of aluminum, which is not good for us and the glass ball is actually made of plastic so all the hot coffee goes up into that plastic, which is what I’m trying to get away from. I will be returning it this week. Would love to find an old-fashioned percolator made with the steel body and glass domes. That actually makes good coffee and does not have the grinds falling into the coffee water.

Percolators make the BEST coffee!
Great percolator! Had last Cuisinart for 11 years brewing coffee daily! Had to replace it as the glass knob on lid disintegrated and no replacement lids available. Would absolutely recommend this.

Flawless Performance So Far first week.
Works well every day. Nice quality. It's pretty light like most products now a days so even though it works well and is quite solid it does not feel expensive. The handle is quite fat. It feels comfortable as a result to me, but my wife prefers a thinner handle. Not a big point. We like the clear top knob because we can see the percolating process. We are traditional in that way. A key point is that percolators require a coarse ground for the best flavor. You cant buy pre packaged coarse ground as everything is medium ground. So if you buy a percolator, which I highly recommend, you also need a grinder. Easy Peasy.

Too much effort!
I so wanted to love this. It reminded me of home 40 years ago. There was always a glass top percolator. It was impossible to keep the grounds out of the coffee even with a filter. Too hot without a pad to lift out the grounds basket and it drip all the way to the sink or garbage. Too much work!
