I love the taste. It is spicy but oh so yum! It doesn't give a buzz exactly but for me it was like having the relaxation of a good tea and the energy of a coffee without any of the negative. I felt energetic without feeling jittery or anxious, it also helped my muscles relax and brought down my tension. Drinking a half glass (like you would wine) is about all it takes. Has about 4 or 5 servings in one bottle.

I recently tried an alcohol substitute elixir, and while it tasted fine, it completely failed to deliver on its promises. I expected it to provide a similar relaxed or flirty feeling to alcohol, but it didn’t give me the slightest buzz. For the price, which was comparable to a nice bottle of alcohol that would typically last me 2-3 months, this was a complete waste of money. It felt like I paid a premium for a glorified flavored beverage. I will not be buying anything like this again and can’t recommend it to anyone looking for an actual alcohol alternative. Save your money.

Thought I would get a buzz :) . Taste wasn’t what I was expecting .

I was briefly seeing a guy in recovery and bought several popular alcohol free “liquors”. This was by far the best of the bunch. A little pricey, but you actually are supposed to make cocktails out of this. Most NA spirits you take straight so you go through them faster.I tried it with ginger bear and it was ok. Ginger beer mostly overwhelmed the taste of the spirit. It was much better with tonic! Add a spritz of orange blossom water and it’s worth drinking even if you’re not in recovery!

It didn't really do anything for my mood but the taste was good. Not something that I will continue to purchase as an alcohol alternative.

Don't buy liquids from Amazon! The moment you open the bottle, you lose the option of return. This item is terrible, and I tried to return it and another item for the same reason.After the normal Amazon runaround, they told me it was nonreturnable. I would have done better buying it from a Costco, where I could have taken it back. That being said, this product is undrinkable, too expensive and it smells weird. The color is a muddy red color, and if nothing else, it'll cure your drinking problem because of its taste, or send you back to drinking alcohol because of its taste. Amazon and this product are two reasons to save your money.

It's not going to get you buzzed like alcohol, but it will get you buzzed on life! If you're abstaining (or even if you're not), this elixir is the way to go. I can easily detect the Damiana, but it's not overpowering. It's a perfect blend: just strong enough to give you the feels. If you're not used to using herbs or drinking bold liquor, it does blend very nicely with ginger ale or ginger beer, as well as unsweetened almond milk with vanilla. Even just a couple ounces of water temper it greatly for slow sipping. Highly recommend!
