Large Chunks Means a Long Cook
I couldn't be more satisfied with this charcoal. You are guaranteed extra long chunks of charcoal which means a slow and consistent burn. Love using these in the UDS!!

Awful.
I’ve used fogo for a long time and always had good results. This batch I bought was awful. It was destroyed and very small bricks and dust. Also took forever to light. And when it did it left an awful aftertaste. The smoke quality was terrible.

Was great but last batch was pulverized
I've been a customer and fan of this product for a long time. But the latest bag I opened seemed like someone jumped up and down on it for a few minutes before shipping. It's the first time I have ever had to scoop out charcoal after p ouring it into my BBQ. Powder and fine chips, which of course block air flow so the charcoal takes a super long time to light. Tomorrow I'm going to put it through a 1-1/2 grating to see what I can salvage.May be best to buy this from some place you can easily return it to, and see if the quality comes back to normal.

Garbage
I’ve been trying to get it to light for 2 hrs!!! I started spraying lighter fluid on it, but it still won’t get hot. It’s been in a chimney for an hr/half plus the lighter fluid. Don’t waste your money on this. Get the cheap stuff. This charcoal is garbage
