A Sad and Terrible Remake
Regardless of how updated the graphics were, and the game mechanics. Everything from the characters to the “new” content were subpar, and dusty compared to it’s predecessor. I guess playing on people’s nostalgia to rake in the dough is what it’s all about nowadays. Whether it was to bring in the new generation or provoke a sense of wonder for the older latter. This was by far their worst remake for Marvelous, while others will disagree with me, the gameplay and missions were none too appeasing. In order to even continue the game you must get married or you will be banished off the island and the game once a year finishes. The bachelors to the bachelorettes lacked substance and appeal. Also with the new character customization, it was hardly anything to applaud. Honestly, I’m upset this game couldn’t meet the same expectations as Mineral Town and Olive Town. What a disappointment.

Addicting but not without stress
To be clear, I like video games that I can escape from reality, from having to do something every single day., freedom from consequence, freedom to enjoy without the pressure of time dwindling away or contemplating my demise This is just another emotional heart-wrenching game, while extremely addicting, is an example of the problem of the lack of escape with games from reality You will die Inaction may lead to divorce Your children might hate you You will grind your crops every single day, including raising your animals Grind grind grind against the clock that is ticking It's just another one of those games It doesn't mean that it's not a good game. It just means it is not a stress-free cozy game by any definition. So if you like, very addicting games, you can pick this up You were warned

Did not like
Most harvest moon-esque games had a map, this one did not, the characters were really boring and the controls were really odd for me. I have played alot of farming games and this was the worst one I've ever played
