OK - mechanism slightly rough, miniscule margin of error/allowance on the bolt installation plates.
Ordered based on the depth needed to match an existing door handle installation - this unit is slightly deeper / longer than average which is hard to find.Mechanism is sturdy, however rough and with internal resistance. Had to grease to smooth it out, helped but not ideal. Hopefully over time and usage this will smooth out.Be aware of the allowance for margin of error on the bolt to the door frame installation plate. When comparing this bolt unit to another I'd bought the margin is so small. Had to file the brass bolt (thankfully material is soft) to get the bolt to operate smoothly into the frame plate.

It should have a better description and more detailed information with all dimensions!
The products itself appears to be of good quality. However, it was a bit of gamble when I bought it, because the description and information about the product were not very good. I was lucky that it fitted and it was exactly what I wanted, but please be aware that the instructions are awful and I was saved by a a video on Youtube.

No problems, takes a while to fit, same as any lock. Perfectly happy with the end result.
