I have been using this face wash for almost 5 years. My skin is oily and acne prone and I love this gel so much! It can leave your skin dry but if you apply a moisturizer immediately after, you won’t even notice. It lasts forever as you only need one pump to apply it on face.

I bought this for a relative who has oily acne-prone skin which is also sensitive. So far they only use this once a day (at night), to prevent excess dryness, and in the morning they use the Vanicream Gentle Cleanser. Previously this relative had been using the Paula's Choice CLEAR Pore Normalizing Cleanser twice a day which also has 0.5% salicylic acid, but it had been drying out their skin. My relative appreciated the pump bottle of the Vichy, but wished it was also fragrance-free like the Paula's Choice and Vanicream cleansers. The Vichy has a slight herbal scent that they find unnecessary and slightly off-putting. It remains to be seen whether the Vichy is more drying than the Paula's Choice; my relative would have to use the Vichy twice a day in order to fully test that. I will report back when I know more.

I’ve been using the Vichy Normaderm Intensive Purifying Cleanser for a few weeks, and it has quickly become one of my favourite skincare products. The formula with salicylic acid and zinc really helps keep breakouts under control. After washing, my skin feels properly clean and purified but never stripped or tight. The texture lathers nicely, the scent is fresh and not overpowering, and the 200ml bottle lasts longer than expected since you only need a small amount.
