Stunningly beautiful and simple art provocations
This book is absolutely beautiful! And perfect if you're looking for ideas of where to start with art with toddlers/preschoolers. The photography is stunning, the ideas are simple and clearly laid out, and it's very easy to follow. I've bought a number of process art books, but this is by far the best. I love it! Will be using this for many years to come with my two boys (4 years and 2years), and will be sharing with our home educators group.

Wonderful book which encourages thoughtful creative play
Wonderful book which encourages thoughtful creative play. Easy instructions and the materials are not too expensive or hard to come by. Projects are great for rainy day indoor fun. My kids also loved looking at the pictures as they're clear and colourful.

A nice colourful book
A nice book overall, but not quite what I expected. The description of the book says "process art" and "Reggio-inspired" so I was hoping for introductions for children to explore different art media open-endely and advice on how to set up the art studio to provoke this.Whilst there are some good tips for equipment and layout, essentially this is a book of basic product-driven crafts which children have been given free reign to decorate in their own way. Nothing wrong with this but it is nothing ground-breaking, inspiring, anything you don't know or aren't doing already/can't get from Pinterest, even if you aren't particularly artistic yourself. However, the theory/reflection pages in between the projects are the most useful pages in the book. They offer some good prompts for adults to deepen children's thinking without taking control of the children's art.

Disappointing
Bought this book following a recommendation on Instagram. Hoped it would contain lots of craft projects to inspire the kids but half the book is about setting up a kids art area and the other is quite dull projects. Didn’t find any new inspiration or ideas in it, waste if money sadly

Good to foster original thinking and building your art space , disappointed on the level of the projects
Wonderful book to guide you on how to create your art space at home. Well presented theories and many tips and rules . Liked the connection to the ' Reflections on Reggio Emilia's 100 languages of children' ,but ... as a preschool teacher , I can do better in the projects than this book has to offer... sorry but maybe I had higher expectations regarding the level of practice .
