Z Man MinnowZ 3 inch Soft Plastic Paddle Tail Swimbait

One of my favorite plastic colors for Redfish a d trout. Only thing is, this is one of the "few" jig head and plastic combo where the ball jig and/or eye color can make an enormous difference (I paint "all" of mine with Pro-Tech Powder Paint! . This is what I typically do (see pic)......and the fish will eventually tell "ME"which one they want.

The Good: - Solid colors - More stretchy than other swimbaits - Tough - Realistic action The Bad: - Feels very sturdy like the paddle could be a little bigger to promote wider swimming action/vibration Note(s): The z-man minnowz is my favorite soft swimbait. It is very tough and can take a lot of abuse. It has a very nice stretch which reduces the chances of losing a tail on a short bite. Ran into a boil once and one of these lures landed me over 30 stripers and it was only a little tore up. This is worth the money, it will last 2-3 times as long as the cheapie soft swimbaits.

I love Z-man products. The minnowz are a perfect swimbait. I love how the dorsal "fin" of the minnowz acts as a hook hider so one can stay very weedless when rigged with an ewg style hook. The Z-man stuff is 10x strong and lasts all day, the next day and then some. I only usually have to replace when I lose the rig. It's not often I replace the lure because it rips or tears. The electric chicken color resembles panfish in my creeks so I love it for early spring fishing when the panfish are extra colorful and when the water is slightly stained so the fish can see the lure.

Maybe the best soft plastic ever made for saltwater. Durable and extremely effective. Numerous ways to rig it and the perfect size for inshore fish.

Pair them with a Z-Man Texas Eye and that’s money

I take a couple kayak trips each year to the coast of NC. I caught more redfish, blues and speckled trout on these than all my other lures combined. Matched them to a trout eye jig and let the magic happen!!

This color here is the best color they make. Catches fish in all water colors. Pair with zman hooks. Yoy won't regret it.
