It as good as new!
It's working great! It's a task to fit it, you'll need a phillips head screwdriver (I used a medium size plus a skinny one to reach two awkward screws) and some pliers for fitting the clamps on the tubing. I also followed a YouTube video. Tube is exactly like the original, only difference was the tube had a fitting I had to discard but I've just used the machine to clean the car and it's as good as new.

Haven’t used this item yet but it all fitted to gather well and I can’t see this causing me problem in the future

A much flimsier hose than I thought I had ordered
The photo used in this listing looks the same as the hose that was on my Bissel originally. I was therefore expecting that the replacement would be the same. Unfortunately, it's a much thinner, black plastic hose. The part fit and I desperately needed to use my carpet cleaner so I've kept it rather than send it back. But I'm not happy with the quality of the part.
