love
I really like this cute fake dating story. It wasn’t really fake as both had a crush on each other, especially Abel. All the cute little things they did like holding hands in the car were so natural to them and they knew feelings were involved. So they weren’t exactly pretending to be in a relationship. It was quite a refreshing read for this troop.

Love the book and characters, beware of epilogue for potential spoilers
I wanna start off with the only negative: the epilogue I wish I could have had later on. I know that the characters that are mentioned would end up together but seeing it said blatantly was a small letdown when I haven’t read their books yet, the third not even being published yet.Now to talk about what I loved. It was super refreshing to have a fake dating romance where the girl thinks the guy hates her but actually he loves her and is always nervous around her. It was cute and I really enjoyed the read. The spice/kinks I read at the end were unexpected but makes sense since she is a spicy book lover😂Speaking of Scarlett, I absolutely love her and relate to her a lot. Her demeanor I see a lot in how I act so it was easy to understand her and why she acted the way she did. Now Able, the boy who was too scared to admit his crush would do literally anything for those he loves. It will always be my weakeness when reading book guys like that and I would always automatically love them!

Fake dating sports romance!
This was such a fun and cute book! Booktok led me to this one and I loved it!Scarlett is the personal chef to a grumpy football player named Abel. She thinks he hates her and when she's had enough of his moodiness, she decided to quit. Instead of letting Scarlett quit, Abel surprises her by asking her out instead.I love a solid fake dating book but add in the fact that Abel had been in love with Scarlett from the very beginning... Ugh my heart!! Abel was such a sweetheart and I loved watching Scarlett fall for him.

super cute and spicy
Super cute book! Definitely a slow burn but man when they get to the spice 🥵 it doesn’t stop! I gave it a four star just because some of the plot is a little unbelievable but I still loved it!

Good book, Disaster of an ending
You know when you read a book and you just know that a couple isn’t gonna last, well for the first 75% of the book I did not have that feeling, in fact I thought the MMC was probably the most perfect book boyfriend out there, but holy crap the way the MMC handled the 3rd act break up was such a spectacular red flag that it trashed the rest of the book.He did literally everything else but just talk to the FMC. His stupid excuse of “she wouldn’t want to talk to me,” was pathetic when he literally spent however long spilling his guts to her close friend and got her on his side… like they couldn’t have made an effort to get him the chance to explain. Instead the pathetic little dweeb decided to let her hurt for 6 days and even attempt to go on a date with someone else because he’s a pathetic person and a terrible communicator. Then she was just like okay, you had to tell the entire world the truth before you could be bothered to attempt a conversation with me like a rational person and good significant other.God this couple hasn’t a chance in hell to survive if he can’t be bothered to even try to talk to her when he messes up for the whole world to see and embarrassed her on a national level.

3/5
starting off the book was alright and i loved the build up i thought it was so cute and i was having a great time, but then the miscommunication trope came in and it was completely unnecessary and i feel like the author just wanted to add drama. The ending was eh.

Was easy
This review might contain some spoilers, not yet sure what would be considered a spoiler.I like the fact that the author didn’t include a lot of the girlfriends’ stories in this book but gave the readers a hint that there will be more books to cover each of their stories. It was a nice introduction to the couples if you may.The fake dating wasn’t much of a fake dating if they spent most of their time alone in his place getting to know each other more. It feels like the book should’ve ended at 80% because the last 20% was not important. Yes the author wanted to end the book with a HEA but it could’ve been done way back. And about the big secret that got revealed, he should’ve trusted her enough to know that she could have kept it a secret

bad
Huh????This was cheesy but not in a cute way, more like I’m lactose intolerant get this away from me. And it reads like a grocery list, and then this happen and then this happens and then this…

5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I devoured this fun he falls first, fake dating book. The football player that needs a date to make his team family values vibe and his personal chef he is obsessed with is delightful. The banter is there with great side characters that I cannot wait to read the stories of, plus the focus is the relationship not endless football stuff. There is a third act miscommunication breakup but it is resolved quickly and semi understandably, nice if there was slightly more grovel. New author to follow!

Cute and simple
I think I spent half of this book guessing the outcome of this book and 9 times out of 10 I was right. Although I found it to be predictable I enjoyed every second of it.
