The product is poor quality. It printed a few pages correctly, and then some cartridges stopped supplying ink. My Canon printer does not recognize these cartridges and cannot tell me when the ink is out. I will go back to buying the Canon cartridges.

I ordered this set of replacement ink cartridges to handle my day-to-day, non-archival printing needs so that I can save my expensive Canon cartridges for when I really need a print to be archival, such as with my fine art prints.These are a good value, and the colors seem true. They are individually packaged within the box, and easy to install. The sides are translucent, so you can see how much ink is left.Per the packaging on the box, they need to be stored in the dark. That tells me that they are not guaranteeing the ink to be lightfast, and implies that there is a possibility that prints may fade or colors may change over the years. This is typical for non-archival inks, so not a surprise. (My test prints haven't faded noticeably over the past couple of months, though, and still look the same.) I don't need my day-to-day printing to be archival quality, so this is OK for my typical needs.If you are printing photos or artwork that will be framed and exposed to light for years, then I'd probably stick to the Canon inks (which is what I do). However, for regular daily printing this is just fine, and an affordable alternative to the name-brand ink.
