Waterproof IP67 Door Bell Button Switch Stainless Steel NO&NC Output

Switch came promptly and nicely packaged. Installation was a snap. Switch and metal plate appear to be of very good quality so I have some confidence that it will last.

As expected. Well built button that looks great.

The button itself looks like a good quality product. However it really is not a true mullion sized product as it will not fit into that type of mounting box.

The media could not be loaded. This is actually the second product I got from this company. The first was a lighted doorbell. I decided to repurpose that since my doorbell system is AC and the lighted LED required 12 volts DC. So instead of wiring a bridge rectifier or finding a low-voltage transformer, I just decided to get the non-lighted version.The doorbell is a momentary switch that comes with a stainless steel baseplate about the size of a credit card. It comes with two stainless steel screws and is entirely waterproof. The barrel of the switch comes with green and white wires. For my doorbell purposes, I will use the green wires that close a circuit when the button is pressed. If your application requires you to open a circuit, you would use the white wires. The unused wires can simply be cut off.Installation. The switch is pretty beefy with an inch diameter and 1.5 inches deep. I am going to have to drill out the tiny hole that the doorbell wires come out of to install this switch. But, having a sleek, modern doorbell is worth it.The overall impression of the switch is that it is heavy-duty and well-put-together. For the price, this is a great value. Just keep in mind that you might have to modify your OEM doorbell installation to get to use this high-quality piece of kit.

I have had three door bell pushbuttons purchased from Lowes. They all fell apart as I tried to install them and get good contact with the wiring. This unit is Stainless Steel. It is well built and the push button moves smoothly. I solder the connections and use heat shrink tubing to insulate the joint. When you push the button the doorbell works. It makes sounds. It is as simple as that.The unit is larger and has a professional look. It is easily visible. I purchased the plain unit without the lighting feature. Based on comparisons with the other mfgrs. this one should last a very long time. If you like the satin brushed stainless steel look - this is for you. If you want the 'pretty' and decorative narrow profiles don't buy this one. The old adage of 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' is true.I like it. It works.

This stainless steel switch is beautiful and works very well. It has an incredible, high-quality construction, and the button has a nice feel and “click.” It works perfectly every time you press on it gently. Based on my experience, I would like to give you some tips for its installation. The plate is a bit small compared to standard plates. I bought a flat plate and drilled a hole for the back of the switch plate to go through. Then, I screwed it in and attached the container to the box in the wall, and voila...it worked so well that I got another one for the access door on the street (so they don't have to go all the way to the front door to knock).

Bulletproof doorbell. Doesn't only provide a sleek and modern look, but should also last long under the California sun. Because the previous two door bells didn't. I didn't use the provided screws and instead used machine screws with thread inserts. For those like me that don't like the green print on the plate: It rubbs off with a rag and a little Acetone.I am very happy with this button. It might not be cheap, but feels way more expensive than many higher priced products. I also dig the modern look. I hope this helps to make a decision.
