VELCRO Brand VEL-EC60201 Tree Ties, 50mm x 5m - Green

This is greay for tying to garden steaks to support young trees and shrubs. As its quite a wide tape it gives a secure hold on the tree and doesnt cut into the stem as ive found thinner plant ties can. It has a strong grip and held strong through the recent heavy winds. Ive still got a lot left even after staking and tying several trees. Will get more if I run out. Thought it was great for the price.

Good strong easy to use tape. Used it to pull a tree back into an upright position wrapping it around twice for added strength and it has done the job well without digging into the bark.

This is a decent product, very easy to use, but it assumes you have a tree stake that is parallel with the tree trunk and they are almost always at an angle to the tree trunk. This means when you wrap it around both, to get the velcro ends to end up together (which they much for it to stick), you have to leave some slack to account for the angle difference. So it’s ok but I probably wouldn’t choose this again for tree staking. I’m sure it will be useful for other situations though.

Got for plants to hold them up works great

Works really well to bring our wayward laurel back under control. Blends in with the plants and soft and protective Very happy with the cost too.

If you're expecting strength because of the brand name, you should prepare to be disappointed OK for light duty but doesn't have the strength I was expecting

Very nice to use, width means less rubbing against plant.

This is an excellent product. I have used it to tie young trees, raspberry canes and broad beans. It is very easy to fix - much easier than tying string - and because it is quite broad, puts much less stress on the plant. It is also easy to move if you decide you have not tied the plant in the best place. It is quite expensive, but I am banking on being able to use it again next year.

Better than regular velcro. Very easy to attach and feels like a good product for my trees.
