Mighty Jaxx Stranger Things: DemoPets Series 1 | Blind Box Toy Collectible Figurines | One Pack - Contains One Random Figure

I bought the Mighty Jaxx Stranger Things: DemoPets Series for my daughter, who is currently obsessed with Stranger Things and absolutely loves blind boxes. She was so excited opening it on Christmas Day (first thing she opened), and even happier when she got the Demodog, the one she really wanted. She was over the moon with it. The figure feels really good quality, with nice detail, and I liked that it comes with a little card showing which character you’ve got. It makes it feel more collectible rather than just another toy. She loves displaying it and has already convinced me to buy another one because she now wants to collect them all. If you’re buying for a Stranger Things fan, this is a great little collectible and definitely a hit in our house.

Amazing, they are so cute!! They are exactly as described and a great value for money. They are about 10 cm tall! They also came a week early!! Definitely recommend!!

Kids love these, had a few but did have duplicates

The packaging is nicely done throughout, it's a small cardboard box covered with an on-theme design. It features a nice set of images, including one of the DemoPets figures on the front and some example images of the different figures in the set on the side. The top is thoughtfully perforated making these easy to tear into, after cracking the box you’ll find the figure, its attachments and the NFC stand packed into some heat-sealed & opaque pouches. For whatever reason, the collectible card wasn’t covered in this set, which means that the ‘surprise’ was spoiled immediately after I looked at it before opening the rest. This is a genuinely impressive little figure that is made to a high standard, it definitely feels more than worth the asking price. All the Mighty Jaxx originals, collaborations and licensed figures are frankly awesome, the models are always unique and well worth collecting. The quality of the moulding is impressive and they’re finished to a high level with the painted elements too, there isn’t a blemish on the figure and it’s easily worth the asking price and then some. The only minor nitpick I have about the actual contents is that there isn’t a provided way to display the little collectible card, a small plastic stand to put beside the model would be a nice addition honestly. I'm conflicted by this product, as they’re genuinely a high quality & official Stranger Things merch item for a very reasonable price, at least as a single unit. Collecting the entire set or buying multiples is where the issue comes in for me. As I said in the title, I'm really not a fan of the video game lootbox-like aspect of this product; and I consider it to be low-level gambling. The entire concept is based on FOMO marketing, the buyer has no idea which model they’re getting and collecting them all could take 7 purchases or several dozen to get every one. You can technically buy all the common models in one go if you buy them six at a time direct from Mighty Jaxx, but all bets are off when it comes to the special models. Even if you do manage to luckily snag the rare model in the first six trays, you’ll be missing one of the common models, meaning you need to buy more if you want the full collection. At the very least, I think they should let you buy them individually and provide the option of the blind boxes to those who know what they’re getting into. I’d even personally be okay paying a bit more to know exactly what I'm getting. Other than the randomness of the blind boxes, this is a wonderful product that I thoroughly enjoy. If you’re not set on owning them all or don’t mind the randomness of the boxes, then there is nothing really wrong for the price point of £13.99.

Cute, but buying multiple at once will give you always the same, which was a bit of a letdown when opening them with a group and everyone receiving the exact same one. They are most likely not packaged the same way blindboxes are usually sorted/packaged.
