The box is pretty good. Sturdy. The deck box is essentially just two of those old single deck boxes put into a big double deck box. This effectively gives you two layers of protection in case you do somehow drop your deck box and are scared it might damage your cards! The plastic is quite thick as well, so it feels like protection. The old ultra pro single deck boxes I've used in the past has thinner plastic and the velcro would quickly lose its velcrocity... in comparison, this box uses magnets and so its ability to close and stay closed is quite effective. However, I know that if you drop this deck box and it does some real damage a magnet will be less able to survive than velcro; be careful about that! Overall very satisfied with my purchase. It holds a significant amount of cards, looks awesome, has been strong so far, and I have nothing to complain about.

Really nice deck box. Has two removable open top deck boxes in it. Holds 60 sleeved cards with some room left for sideboard maybe. The magnetic closure is nice and holds when you turn it upside down. If you shake it while it is upside down it will come open but not after a few good shakes. Mine gets jostled around in my backpack and has not opened yet.

I’m really happy with this. I have some duel decks about 60 cards sleeved and they fit nicely in this.

There is literally nothing to dislike about these cards. We play cards 3 times a week & we were very disappointed in the plastic cards we had. My brother did lots of homework & chose these even tho they are disigned for a game we don't play. Who cares. The LIGHTNESS is unbelievable & shuffling is now no strain on my fingers. Worth every penny!!!

I've tried out numerous deck boxes before in my years playing MTG. I've seen the ones my friends use, and this (Monster Double Boxes in general) is by far the best one I've ever used. While twice the size of the standard Ultra-Pro deck boxes, these are much more solidly put together. Infinitely more so. The double-pocket is great for holding either a second deck, or your sideboard/tokens...even your dice if you need it. I wouldn't use anything else.

I'm new to Magic the Gathering and my friend who got me into it suggested I start out with a commander deck. I'm OCD and like to protect my stuff so double sleeving the cards was only natural for someone like me to do. The problem is a commander deck along with the 10 token cards all double sleeved is massively thick, almost 4 inches, so most regular deck boxes are too small. Not this box. I put 60 regular cards in 1 compartment. In the other I put the other 40 regular cards and the 10 token cards and use the thick card they give which is a duplicate of 1 of the legendary cards for collectible purposes, as a divider to put between the tokens and the regular cards. In that same compartment I can also fit the life tracker wheel card. Basically, if you double sleeves your cards, this box is made for your commander decks.

I play Netrunner, so I have to carry two decks with me to play. I have seen a lot of deckboxes, but these are the best. The plastic is durable. It seals shut with a magnet. Inside the box the two smaller deckboxes can be removed giving you easy access to put cards in and out. The colors are bright and fun.The only problem with these is that they put their hideous Monster Protectors logo all over them. Nobody wants to see that. I have to cover them up with stickers to personalize. I would still much rather have a solid color box with no logos on it.
