Zambia, Mozambique & Malawi travel guide

I've always liked the Lonely Planet guides. This was a disappointment. I think they tried to cover too much (3 countries) and as a result the Zambian coverage was pretty sparse and not in the usual depth that I expect from Lonely Planet. We found lots of restaurants and places to stay on Google and Trip Advisor that didn't get mentioned in the guide. The reviews of the travel and safari sites was also thin.My brother and I took this trip to Peteuke to find the house we'd grown up in (61 yrs ago) and do some tourist stuff on the side

trotz aktualität stimmen speziell in mosambik die fahrpreise überhaupt nicht. auch einige busverbindungen gibt es nicht (mehr).am malawisee wird beispielsweise in senga bay extra vor bilharziose gewarnt, in cape maclear wird das schnorcheln besonders empfohlen, es wird aber niergends erwähnt, dass auch hier ein erhöhtes risiko für bilharziose besteht. gar keinen hinweis gibt es dahingehend, dass es in malawi in jeder apotheke ein medikament zum spottpreis gegen diese infektion gibt-dieses medikament kostet in eurpoa 130.- €ansonsten ist der reiseführer gut
