Looked at this last year as I wanted something to make shortbread with a Christmas theme and finally took the plunge this December. Very impressed. The build quality being cast aluminium means that this thing is absolutely solid with no chance of any flexing, bending or warping. The pattern is brilliant and transfers to the finished baked item very well. Following the provided instructions on tin preparation along with the non stick coating the finished baked item dropped out immediately with no sticking what so ever. A very happy customer here.

I have many Nordic ware Bundts. It’s my favourite baking brand. Everything comes out looking perfect and is just so easy to use. I love baking for Christmas, I saw this shortbread pan and had to have it. It did not disappoint. Yes it’s expensive but, I’m a traditional Wife and Mum who bakes for my family and friends, whilst running my own business, so I don’t have much time to prat with fondant and icing. I also bake Christmas presents for my clients to thank them for their continued support over the years. So I divide the cost over how many times I will use the pan and how many years it will be serving me, by how pretty the end results are for such little effort and the gratification of knowing what exactly is going into my food. In short, great value for money, well manufactured and great value for money considering the years it will serve me.

I love this on every level! It's detailed but easy to clean. I have the square pan which is more difficult to clean but less detailed. It cooks perfectly and everyone was blown away by the shortbread at Christmas. Item was delivered quickly, and packaged well.

I purchased this baking pan in an effort to “dress up” my shortbread for holiday gift giving. Smart move! The Nordic Ware brand has been well known to me for some time and, I’m sure, by many other people who enjoy baking. A great deal of artistry goes into the design process of the wide variety of items in their product line. Along with the durability of their products, this also makes them highly collectible heirloom pieces. Yes, they’re beautiful, but they’re durable as well, giving you many years of baking enjoyment. I choose to hand wash my pans after using them, instead of putting them into the dishwasher. They clean up easily, especially if you give them a good hot water rinse as soon as you remove the baked item. Otherwise, I soak them in a mildly soapy, hot water solution to loosen any remaining food that may have remained behind. Nordic Ware also sells a cleaning brush designed specifically for this product line. I suggest using something gentle like this to avoid damaging the inner surface of the pan. When used as directed by the manufacturer, these pieces produce a beautiful delicacy. I have gifted these delicious snowflake shortbreads to many people who have enjoyed them immensely. By purchasing bakery-style, appropriately-sized boxes and paper doilies, some beautiful ribbons and/or bows, you can easily present a lovely gift to someone who loves your famous shortbread. So if you enjoy baking, or know anyone who does, this is a great item to gift to them, or yourself. It elevates whatever you’re making into a work of art. Instant wow factor. Highly recommended!
