There is no better agent in world espionage than Quiller. He can tie in knots the KGB, CIA, Mossad, and any one else you care to mention

2nd (or may be 3rd) read. Read this first while still at school and love it just as much now all these years on.

Although rather firmly set in it's era of 60's/70's it remains a masterclass in plotting and characterisation. The economy of characters and action adds rather than detracts from the tension

Superbly written, taut, laconic, well plotted, exactly what a spy story should be!

Truly appauling writing. I love thrillers but this was disjointed - at times I thought my version must have missing pages, Plus there seemed to be the need to repeat the same information over and over eg what the number 9 designation menat. I gave up at 70% through th book it just made me angry. It might improve after that??

Good to be able to get Adam Hall books for Kindle, excellent read.
