I purchased the XL Premium although the Large would have been just fine for my 60# Aussie Collie. That said I’m still glad I bought the larger one as it sure was handy when I took my (overpowered) e-bike to the hardware store and bought 90# worth of stuff and hauled it in the Doggyhut trailer (without the dog of course). Worked great! The trailer is a well thought out, high quality build, easy to assemble and fold up, looks great, and is very stable behind my bike. I had to bore out the axle hole in the hitch piece as it was too small for my bikes axle, but an easy fix and it works great. I also had to re-drill the pin/clamp hole in the trailers tow arm as it was not straight and made it very difficult to put the pin in when hooking up the trailer. However, once all set up, this trailer definitely gets the thumbs up from me based on overall value and performance. I would buy it again without hesitation.

Great quality and sturdy. I put my 50 pound English bulldog in here or 2 pugs. They have so much room and love their rides. I bought 2 of these trailers for an Aipas C1 e bike. And they’re perfect for both bikes. I don’t go over 10 mph with the trailer. This is a great purchase and worth every penny. My fur babies have to go for a ride everyday and it’s so much fun too. I did purchase a comfy crate bed from Marshall’s and it fits perfectly! Last picture is to show how big my English Bulldog is to show how much room there is in there!

This is my second carrier for my 50 lb dog. I attach this to my very fast electric scooter and pull him along. This works extremely well! It’s well built, easy to assemble, and I like that it’s a little narrower than the other one. This provides a secure (always secure your pet with a harness) and visible carrier for your pet. You will turn heads. I’m able to hit speeds up to 30 miles an hour, no problem with this baby. Bonus points for the flag, a good addition. By default, it didn’t come with an internal pad, but I ordered it separately. Notes: The stitching on the bottom supporting straps has started to come off, this is probably because of the weight of my dog on the base has put a lot of pressure on them. I’d recommend reinforcing the base with something like 1/4” wood. I’ve strapped up some fiberboard to the bottom to provide additional support. The attachment bar is a little shorter than the other carrier, this means there is a little less distance to the carrier and some more force exerted on it. Because the attachment to my scooter is so low, there is lots of force exerted on the connecting piece. This isn’t necessarily a problem, but it does mean that the piece loses its horizontal alignment and falls almost vertically. Luckily, the spring on the attachment handle supports this, but it would be nice if there were a way/option to keep the bar level at the connecting point and move the spring closer to the carrier, so that any vertical rotation forces would be absorbed by the carrier unit and not the connecting piece. Also note, this unit has relatively high walls, which are good for keeping your dog inside, but make it harder for your dog to poke his head out while standing and for both of you to show off how CUTE YOU LOOK TOWING YOUR DOG 😍😍! Especially if you dress him up like I do. Would love other colors, but I’m sure that will come. Generally, this is a great and well priced option for your pet towing needs.

This trailer works great! Excellent quality! Easy to use! Excellent design! Our two dogs weighing 95lbs total love it! Pulls easily! It’s not an issue but I did have to adjust one quick release axle so it would fully engage its detent. It only took 3 minutes to adjust. 100% thrilled!

For me, this is a very intuitive (dog) trailer to use. No instructions necessary (except to review any torque values) to assemble. And once assembled it is very easy to pack/unpack - pop off the wheel chair wheels, undo a crossbar, fold down. I bought the XL and it packs down nicely easily fitting in the back of a compact pickup (shortbed) with 2 bikes. It would probably fit in our compact car with the dog (no reaosn we would do that though). The construction of the frame looks good, it has everything I would expect to support a heavy load (our dog). The wheels, again being similar to wheelchair ones, spin on two cartridge bearings, which should handle loads very well and spin very smoothly for a long time. The safety latches work great and are robust. The fabric canopy/cover feels very thick and durable. The bottom seems to work ok with out 80lb dog. I am wondering if I should put in some additional support and vibration damping. My only gripe so far? I minor one. When the trailer is folded up, I can't find a good place to put the 2 flag pole pieces.

I have purchased two of these dog trailers so we can bring our labs on longer adventures. The dogs enjoy it as much as we do. We pull behind e-bikes with ease. Very maneuverable and easy to set up and store. I recommend the extra bedding to make it more comfortable for the pups.

Dog bike trailer is an excellent choice for a medium to large dog. Easily assembled, and our dog immediately entered it and was able to turn around easily. (he is about 80 lbs and 23 inches high at the shoulder) We did add a thin dog bed to the floor for a bit more comfort but it would have been fine without it. Trailer is very portable, collapses fairly flat (wheels store inside folded sides), allowing us to explore bike trails in other areas.

Pretty sturdy and very easy to assemble. Works well on the mountain bikes. Our lady Violet seems pretty chilled out in it. She’s still fairly young and we are going to use this extensively until she’s old enough to run with us.

The item is OK, but it took longer than anticipated to deliver the item and the seller was not very good at getting back and communicating to the buyer.
