Amazing IEM I almost didn’t buy
If you read the reviews on this IEM there are a lot of people saying how poorly it performs, that it is very noisy. I purchased it for use in a band situation with other vocalist and guitars. After receiving it, I tried using it connected to just my guitar and it was noisy, I was dismayed. I contacted NUX directly questioning this issue. My question “ Is there an explanation why it will work in a performance or rehearsal situation but would be noticeable in a silent practice session “ Their response. “Ugly facts:The system is a stereo and wireless setup, meaning that the raw data size is double that of a mono wireless in-ear monitoring system. To ensure a stable connection, we compress the raw data to some extent, resulting in a slight loss of sound quality and occasional high-frequency distortion. This distortion is more noticeable when using the system for quiet guitar practice sessions. However, it performs exceptionally well in live performances and band rehearsals where multiple instruments are mixed together, and the distortion issue is significantly reduced. “I have since used it with my band and it works really terrific. I did not notice any noise, It is so small and light, and was a pleasure to use, much better than the speaker monitors.

Almost great, but it's a failure.
I desperately wanted to love this product. The materials, functions, storage case, and overall look are fantastic. Unfortunately, the sound quality is absolutely awful. There is an always present static noise that will not go away. I tried every combination of volume and gain settings on the monitor system and source audio, but could not get the hiss to go away. I read the other reviews that claimed this and I really wanted them to be wrong, but in the end I had the same experience. I'm genuinely sad that this was the case, beside the sound quality, everything else is great about these. But, for an IEM system, sound is all the matters.

Great idea, but terrible sound
If you remove all frequencies except low ones on the equalizer, then strong sound distortions and clicks are heard (does not depend on the sound source that was used). It is possible that there are distortions at other frequencies, but they are not so noticeable.to be clear. I decided to keep this device because my measurements correspond to the manufacturer's specifications and the device may be useful. and this level of distortion is expected due to the prioritization of latency minimization over sound quality. but I want to warn that this device is not suitable for everyone. in my case, I prefer to use a wired headphone connection whenever possible.

Excellent Product
This product is an excellent solution for musicians, performers, and anyone who needs a reliable wireless monitoring system. The sound quality of this system is exceptional. The stereo audio transmitting provides crystal-clear sound, with no interference or signal dropouts. The in-ear monitors fit comfortably and securely, and the sound isolation ensures that you can hear every detail of your performance. The charging case is also a great feature. It is compact and easy to carry, and provides up to 6 hours of use on a single charge. The LED indicators on the case and earbuds make it easy to see the battery status, so you can always be sure that you have enough power.Another great feature of this system is the 5.8 GHz wireless transmission. This frequency range provides a stable and reliable connection, with low latency and no signal interference. It is also easy to set up and use, with no complicated menus or settings to navigate.Overall, I highly recommend the NUX B-7PSM 5.8 GHz Wireless in-Ear Monitoring System. It is a high-quality product that provides excellent sound quality, reliable performance, and convenient features like the charging case. Whether you're a professional musician or just someone who wants a great wireless monitoring system, this product is definitely worth considering.

Amazing idea and format, if it only it sounded good.
Yes its too good to be true, this compact portable nicely packed piece of tech sounded awful. What do i mean by that? There is a grainy/staticy/distortion sound that blankets all of the audio that it transmits. Especially with tones that are of higher graininess already like distorted guitars, or metal music. Tried my kemper profiler, live mixer phones output, cell phone headphone out, all of them plagued by the same problem with this unit. This is not for critical listening expieriences, the sound quality itself i would say is on the budgetary side, if you just want low latency audio despite being pretty low quality sound this is for you. Yes the latency was very low, almost imperceptible, unless of course you are using a digital mixer with 1-3ms latency, kemper profiler with 5.5ms latency, and this unit with 5.5ms latency added. Then you notice a slight difference. But hope this helps.

Sounds good but not ready for prime time
It sounds good for the part but in less than 2 weeks it fell apart. The on/off switch on the receiver caved in and no longer function. Also the transmitter case developed a crack in the plastic case although it's still operational

Glad with my choice
I've been using the NUX B-7PSM Wireless in-Ear Monitoring System for several weeks now, and it's been a game-changer for my performances. The low latency of less than 5.5ms and the operation range of 90 feet are indeed impressive, but I've found that the range can be reduced if there are obstacles in the way.The automatic RF environment scan and clean wireless channel are great features that have saved me from interference issues. However, I have experienced some minor signal dropouts in noisy environments.Overall, the system is lightweight and easy to use, and the unique pairing algorithm makes setup a breeze. I appreciate the broadcaster-grade audio via 5.8GHz digital transmission to the compact RX, and the RX's clip design is convenient for attaching to my clothes or guitar strap. While the NUX B-7PSM Wireless in-Ear Monitoring System is not perfect, it's definitely a reliable and stable option for musicians looking to upgrade their on-stage monitoring.
