I have six cats and I've been trying to get them on a higher quality food. Had been feeding Iams but they keep messing with the products and my cats got quite picky with it. Plus the Iams ingredients were never that great. I tried one brand that was high in soy and found that one of my cats was very allergic to soy. Was scratching so much he had patches of hair missing and scabs. None of my cats will eat Blue Buffalo at all which was surprising since at least two of them will eat most anything. I was ready to give up but then found Nulo. Surprise all six of the cats love the stuff! This was a tough issue to work through because just about any of the higher quality food would end up with half liking it and the other half will not even nibble on it. So Nulo really solved the problem for me. They all appear to be thriving in it. My only wish is that the kibble size was a little larger. Most of my guys like to crunch on something and they seem to be eating a lot of the Nulo by just swallowing it whole.

My cat absolutely loves this food. The high protein content and limited ingredient list make it a great option for picky eaters or cats with sensitive stomachs. You can tell the quality is there - real meat as the first ingredient and no fillers. She eats it right away every time. Really happy with this brand and will keep buying it.

I’ve tried so many different cat foods over the years, and my picky little diva has turned her nose up at almost all of them. I was starting to think she’d never find something she truly liked until I tried this one. From the moment I opened the first bag, she came running, tail straight up, meowing like it was treat time! The first thing I noticed was the smell. It’s not that overpowering fishy scent that fills your whole kitchen, but it’s clearly fresh enough to get a cat’s attention. The kibble pieces are a perfect size, easy for her to chew, and they don’t crumble into dust like some cheaper brands. I also like that the bag has a good resealable top so it stays fresh between feedings. What really impressed me was the difference in her coat and energy. After just a couple of weeks, her fur looked shinier and softer, and she’s been way more playful. She’s usually a bit of a nap queen, but now she actually zooms around the house again. And the best part: no more upset stomach or leaving half her food behind. She eats every last piece. I also appreciate that the ingredients list is clean and easy to understand. Real meat at the top, no weird fillers or by-products. It makes me feel good knowing she’s actually getting quality nutrition instead of just empty calories. This cat food has officially earned a permanent spot in my pantry. If you have a picky eater or just want something that’s clearly made with better ingredients, give this one a try. My cat’s approval rating is basically five stars, and that’s the toughest rating to earn!

We’ve been using this cat food for over three years, with no issues. None of our cats (one male, two females) have ever had any issues with it. Of course that does not mean it will agree with every kitty, but we have had no issues, thankfully. It gives our kitties the silkiest, softest coats! Our youngest came to us with intestinal parasites, underweight, with food aggression, and a scraggly coat. Despite her ravenous hunger, she really hated the food the shelter provided. Once we started her on this, she was actually eating, poor baby! And within a few weeks, her coat was soft and smooth! Of course we treated her for the parasites too. My only complaint is that the kibble size is so small that they don’t really have to chew it once they are half grown, so I really doubt we get any of the dental benefit dry food can typically provide. We use dental treats instead. Our kitties are free-fed this dry food and have never had any weight problems. We also give 1/8 of the jumbo can of Nulo wet food mixed with water to each kitty daily. I highly recommend that too—it keeps them hydrated and can prevent the urinary tract issues dry food can lead to (especially in males). We only recently started doing this—our male cat was on this food for three years without wet food and still had no issues. Make sure you change food gradually, or it can certainly lead to stomach problems and diarrhea. We’re really happy with this food. Hoping we can continue to afford it.
