Works well. It has a fan - it will make noise!
[EDIT] When this product works, it is very good however it packed in / failed after only 6 months!Reviews complaining about the noise from the fan are rather naeve. It's a fan, a good fan, it will make noise! This is not really a case, this is an open to the elements product to keep your Pi cool.Do you need this product? It all depends on your pi's location and environment. Is your Pi running at 70C or more? Yes? Buy this product. My Pi is working 24/7 as a server and is in a cupboard. The recent hot weather in the UK has meant that my Pi server has been over heating @ 80C+ and throttling it's speed to cool down.If you want a silent case with in-built heat sink (eg for a media centre) try a flirc case as they are aluminium and sink the heat from the pi into the frame of the case. I have an flirc case, it's very well made but didn't cope with the hotter temperature required for a server, however works well for a media centre pi.

Stylish but VERY noisy.
This is a really stylish case - very Steam Punk inspired and feels quality too. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the noise. I had purchased it to make a eye catching media centre which it really does but unfortunately the fan is quite a noisy one and the open sides means you get the full volume which of course is constant on the Pi unless you pull the plug which you don't really want to be doing on a media centre. So unfortunately I have had to order a silent solution for the media case but do plan to use this for a future project that wont need to be on 24/7.In summary - for stylish case that keeps the very hot Pi3 cool and doesn't matter about noise then this is the case to get.

Great case. Fiddly to build, but keeps my Pi cool and secure.
This is a great case. I was a little sceptical about buying it to start with, due to the lack of reviews, however as this was exactly the type of case I was looking for and the only one like it on amazon, I took the risk.Thank god I did, this case is well built and holds the RPi securely. Putting together the case is a little fiddly due to the small nuts, however it does come with a small screwdriver to help. There are no instructions, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to align holes, so that's not really an issue. The fan is very loud, personally this isn't a problem as i was after a case with extreme cooling, but if you want a quiet setup this won't do.Love the fact it comes with 3 heatsinks.

Good product, good price
I have several of the "open" style Pi cases and they have always protected the board and components well. Needing to set up a Pi3 to run 24/7 I thought it a good idea to invest in a cooling system to keep it from overheating.Assembly was straightforward and so far so good, the fan and heatsinks are working as intended. It's not a silent fan, but the type used on electronic equipment (I have radios with the same model fan) and does it's job well. For the money I have no complaints.

Cool Pi3
I was looking for a solution and this GorillaPi case solved it ! in style .I did have a normal rasp3 case which seemed ok but after being asked to work in a hot workshop , streaming adverts the Pi3 kept crashing.Heat was the issue even with heatsinks fitted. The GorillaPi SupaVent V2 looked like it would help and after testing for a week solid found that the case and fan kept the Pi3 remarkably cool.No more crashes and looks great also .Highly recommended product

Sexy bit of kit
This is a beautiful skeleton case for the b+.although it came with no instructions regarding assembly, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to put it together.sit done with it for five minutes and it all becomes apparent, the smallest screws hold the plastic board supports in place, the largest headed screws hold the brass pillars in position, the plastic nuts clamp the pi board down, the longest screws hold the fan and fan guard to the top plate, there is a counterbore in the fan housing for the nuts to sit in so that you know it's orientated correctly.be aware of the orientation of the top plate making sure the cut outs correspond to whats on the board and the leads from the fan exit above the gpio header.the fan guard sits on the top of the top plate and the fan itself on the underside.then screw the domed nuts onto the brass pillars,as for the issue of scratching your desk I just nicked the little clear self adhesive pads that Ikea give you on their doors or drawers kit,the wife hasn't even noticed,

Something different
Cool looking case, easy access to ports etc. Fan does make a little noise but not too intrusive. The beauty of this case is that there's space to tinker. I've not tried using any hats on it but there doesnt appear to be enough space, the fan could be removed if needed.I've installed a larger heatsink and theres still room left.Good quality but as said before no bundles instructions however they can be viewed on the gorillapi site

Great qualty case
Great quality case, it arrived quickly (in Belgium). I didn't need the heatsinks, already bought them in copper. Maybe GorillaPi can provide all of them in copper in the future. I mean, customers buy this Pi case for cooling properties, it makes sense to use copper instead of aluminum for the sinks. I would gladly pay more for this. Just saying.
