The chair I've been waiting for ...
I've been after a recliner chair for years but never "pushed the button" before. Recently I have been thinking about a swivel chair in the living room because we have two windows that have two different points of interest and it would be nice to be able to look out of both. This Homcom swivel recliner caught my eye and even though it is cheap compared to other recliners), it is still a lot of money to risk. Anyway, i decided to take a chance and so far (granted less than a week), I am very impressed with it. The box is huge! so large in fact, we had to bring it in through the patio doors. The chair comes in two pieces and I had issues getting the back to "click" into place because of the rocking motion (every time I pressed down, the chair moved forward). Enter Mrs "Wild & Beardy" who patiently sat on the thing while I wrestled with it. That worked, and the back slotted in with a satisfying "click". The chair itself is a nice size, has plenty of faux leather padding support but my back needs a bit extra - a cushion makes the whole thing very comfortable to sit in. The recliner is as you'd expect from something in this price range, its manual and clunks a little. When you pull the handle, it releases the foot rest which move out nicely (no flying backwards). There are no set positions for the foot rest but I can adjust the height just by using my legs and leaning back slightly - I hope the mechanism doesn't loosen over time because this facility is wonderful for getting in "just the right position" over the course of an evening. It is more difficult to return the foot rest to it's locked position because of the rocking motion, but I think it is just a knack that needs working on. I don't find it annoying. pushing back on the chair with your shoulders moves it into a reclining position and again, with a bit of practise I can get "just the right" angle. I can almost lie flat but guaranteed to fall asleep if I do. The swivel is very smooth and I can easily move to look out of both widows - definitely a winner! The rocker is a revelation. I didn't "know" I needed a rocking chair, but apparently I did because I can't stop rocking now (must be the neurodivergence in me). The chair only rocks in the sitting position and is very stable (no squeaks so far). The cup holders are standard (in that they are ok for pint glasses but not for handled cups) - I keep the remote in one and my phone in the other. There are two nice side pockets, large enough to hold an A4 pad (or 15" inch laptop) and a couple of small front pockets (which I haven't found a use for yet). Overall, I am very happy with the quality so far. As always, time will tell if it lasts. This is definitely "the chair I have been waiting for ..."

You need a wide door to get it in your home - or unbox it outside
Brilliant chair, so comfortable. I paid £25 to have it installed although I expected it to be quite easy (which it would have been from watching the guys). However, there’s no way I could have carried it through the front door as: 1. The box was too big to get through 2. The base unit was difficult even for the 2 big guys sent to put it together. Once in, it took about 5-7 minutes to put together. There are a lot of rocker/relaxer chair around, and quite a number on Amazon, however, there are very few that also swivel. That was my main need as I was sick and tired of moving my old relaxer around so that I could look out across our garden. As I’m over half way through my 70s, it’s becoming more difficult to do such manoeuvres. However, with this chair, the swivel makes it effortless. The mechanism for the relaxer feature is again superb and I can close it down with no effort at all (despite what other reviewers may say). Simply put your heels against the lower section of the footrest and bring your legs back and it clicks into place easily, far easier than my previous relaxer. If, like me, your a fan of rocking chairs, my advice, get a foot-stall - it enhances the level of rocking and makes it effortless. All in all, I feel this is a really good chair. Alright, it may not last the ten years that my previous relaxer did, but at 3rd of the price, it still makes this better value for money. RECOMMENDED

Excellent product, and fast delivery.
Wow fast delivery got it through the front door into porch that was it, so we had to destroy the box to get at the chair out to put in the lounge, but 5 mins to put it together, and I have to say really comfortable I wont be moving today lol 😂 excellent Product , and the guys that delivered it very polite and helpful.

Very Comfortable and a great price!
Was looking for a comfortable and affordable chair for my bedroom and this ticked all the boxes. Looks good, very comfy with good padding and support all round. Reclines perfectly, although putting the footrest back down does take a few tries before it clicks into the base. Like the fact it swivels and also has a rocking feature, but may not be ideal for some. Large Pockets down the side, small ones on the front and useful cupholders round off this great chair. Comes in two pieces, and getting the back fitted into the slots may take a few goes, but didn't prove too much of an issue. Overall, would definitely recommend, although looks like this one (grey) has gone back up in price at time writing this.

I'll never go back...
I bought this chair to replace a gaming chair that I'd had for several years. I'd also owned another gaming chair before that 1. Despite both of them being expensive - as well as looking good, I found both of them had the same type of issues...I'm an avid gamer, so 12-14 hours daily gaming sessions over the weekend is normal, so the main problem I discovered was comfort. With gaming chairs there's really only 1 ideal seating position for optimal comfort, but 12-14 hours a day sat in 1 position in itself eventually becomes uncomfortable - this new chair takes care of that. As I reposition myself throughout the day I'm finding every seating position is comfortable, name a seating position, it's comfortable. The chair swivels from underneath my desk so I don't have to keep moving where the chair is situated. It's just perfect for my requirements. I'm never going back to gaming chairs.

Damaged
Disappointing. After unboxing giving it a quick once over i was happy the box broken down and put out for recycling i soon noticed a patch on the arm that looks like tape residue but its not sticky & you cant remove it. Also there is a tiny slice in the leather by the cup holder. I cant be dealing with trying to return it with no box so il just accept it for what it is. But the patch on the arm seems like some sort of repair im no expert though. Beautiful chair very comfy just disappointed in the condition ive recieved it
