These feel and look good quality. A little complicated, they could provide the same result and be a little simpler but a good price for a well made item

Like some of the other reviewers on here i was initially quite disappointed by the sound quality. we had to shout to be heard and i was contemplating sending them back. in the box is a very slim leaflet thats meant to be the instruction manual and it was there that i saw on the diagram that the microphone was at the top! we all naturally held the walkie talkies like a phone but then you end up talking into the speaker not the microphone. talking into the top of the walkie talkie above the vtech logo improved the sound quality no end. it still wasnt perfect but it was considerably better than before. Also make sure its on the Speaker symbol not one of the special effect settings.as recommended in the manual ive swapped out the demonstration batteries for new batteries, the included ones where going down at a considerable rate. its still a bit early to tell how long the new batteries will last. id recommend Alkaline batteries, not "heavy duty" batteries.An earlier review said there wasnt an automatic shutoff but according to the manual there is one and they shut down after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Good item although little tricky for our 5yr old to use

My 5 year old grandson was delighted with this as was his 6 year old brother who has something similar but not as good!!

The kids saw this on .a TV advert and both asked they wanted this. Got this for them as a present to use on holiday. They had lots of fun taking to each other from each side of the house and even on the beach. The gmes are very basic but they also played two player games while being on opposite side of the room. I didnt get a 5 star as i would have expecte dthe voice quality to be a bit better, Its a bit 'noisy' to the point when at times its not possible to understand each other. I am not saying i expected HD quality sound, but it should have been clean with in close range i.e in the next room with only a plasterboard wall in between.

Granddaughter loved it! Used walkie talkie fir ages. Then discovered the games & we could play against each other. She is only 5 & found it easy to use. You can also change the sound of your voice on it, which is a fun thing to do too.

I brought these for a 5 year old birthday after they picked them out of the argos book. They were 9£ cheaper on here than they were in argos so it was a great bargain.The quality is good and they look like they will last well. I personally think they would look better if they were black and grey and not blue but that is just my personal preference.
