Yes, just try it, but it may not get better results then black base

Q: Do you have to buy the black separately?

Yes.....unless you buy a set. I've seen another color that comes in a set of 6, including the black and top coat, etc. Read the part where it says features and details. That part usually says what the particular item you are looking at includes. Usually what you see in the picture is what you get, however, to be sure I always read features and details to know what it includes. Hope this helps.

I haven't got to use it yet, but I think you paint your nails black first. Cure the black. Then put this polish on. Then take the magnet and do whatever talent you got or can do. Hope this helps
